摘要: A failure check apparatus for a control apparatus of a vehicle such as ABS. When the failure check apparatus performs initial check for the ABS, it successively activates each of solenoid valves and a motor provided in the ABS, one at a time, for a predetermined time so as to determine whether a failure has occurred in the ABS. At that time, activation of the motor is started when a certain delay time elapses after the end of activation of the last solenoid valve. The delay time is a time which the vibration generated in the control apparatus upon activation of the last solenoid valve converges. Thus, interference between a vibration wave (sound wave) generated upon actuation of the solenoid valves and a vibration wave (sound wave) generated upon actuation of the motor, which differ in nature of vibration, is prevented.

摘要: A failure check apparatus for a control apparatus of a vehicle such as ABS. 摘要: A brake apparatus has two switching elements in an initial check function section, and detects a broken wiring failure of an actuator by turning on only one of the two switching elements. Therefore, during the initial check, a drive current does not flow through the actuator. Thus, it becomes possible to perform the initial check without operating the actuator. By making it possible to perform the initial check without operating the actuator in this manner, it becomes possible to prevent occurrence of the problem of rush current occurring when the actuator is operated for a short time and the problem of the switching elements being destroyed.

摘要: An apparatus 1 for determining a kind of a steel material detects a spark pixel from a color picked-up image 2 of a spark 19 produced when a steel material 18 is ground, and detects a pixel, in which the density of any one color component for judgment selected from among RGB color components is low, as a low-density pixel from the spark pixels. The apparatus 1 determines that the steel material is a steel material consisting of the high-strength steel if the ratio of the total number of low-density pixels to the total number of spark pixels is not lower than a threshold value for judgment, and determines that the steel material is a steel material consisting of the ordinary steel if the ratio is lower than the threshold value for judgment.

The conveyor apparatus also includes a separation start position adjustment mechanism for adjusting a position at which upstream-side upper belts start to separate away from a signature. The conveyer apparatus can convey sheets, while properly transferring them between upstream-side belts to downstream-side belts, without generation of unintended positional shift, even when changes arise in the thickness and/or length of the sheets.
