摘要： A multilayer color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least a blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion containing a yellow coupler, a green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a magenta coupler, and a red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan coupler, with the red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer or a gelatin interlayer adjacent the red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a non-diffusible colored compound which, on coupling reaction with the oxidation product of a primary aromatic amino developing agent at development, can release a diffusible dye capable of being removed from the photographic layer.

摘要： A color photographic light-sensitive material having a silver halide emulsion layer containing a 1-phenyl-2-pyrazol-5-one magenta color-forming coupler, in which the 1-phenyl group of the coupler is substituted (1) with a R.sub.1 OOC-group, wherein R.sub.1 represents a group having about 8 to 26 carbon atoms, or (2) with a R.sub.2 OOC-group and a R.sub.3 OOC-group, wherein R.sub.2 and R.sub.3, which may be the same or different, each represents a group having about 4 to 18 carbon atoms; and in which the 3-position of the pyrazolone is substituted with an acylamino group, an ureido group, an alkoxy group, an amino group or an anilino group. The color photographic light-sensitive material provides stable magenta dye images having good spectral absorption characteristics.

摘要： A photographic coupler represented by the following formula (I)[a] -- nhcor (i)wherein A represents a cyan color forming coupler residue having a naphthol nucleus or a phenol nucleus; the RCONH-group is a substituted in the coupling position of [A], and R represents (1) an aliphatic hydrocarbon or alicyclic hydrocarbon group which has at least one electron attractive substituent in the .alpha.-position to the carbonyl group in the RCONH- group, or (2) an aryl group, a heterocyclic group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an aryloxycarbonyl group, a carbamoyl group, an acyl group or an amino group which may be substituted with one or more electron attractive substituents, and R as defined by (1) or (2) above is a residue of a carboxylic acid of the formula RCOOH having a pKa of about 1.3 or less; a photographic light-sensitive silver halide emulsion containing the photographic coupler; and a method of forming images comprising developing an exposed photographic light-sensitive silver halide emulsion in the presence of the photographic couplers.

摘要： A method of forming color photographic images which comprises developing image-exposed photographic silver halide emulsion layer with a primary aromatic amino color developing agent in the presence of a yellow color forming coupler represented by the following general formula (I) ##STR1## wherein X.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, a heterocyclic group or an acyl group; X.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an aryl group; X.sub.3 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or an acyl group; Y represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; and Q represents a residue of a yellow color forming coupler, e.g., a yellow coupler in which one hydrogen atom attached to the active methylene group of the coupler is eliminated. These yellow color forming couplers provide yellow color images having superior properties.

摘要： A photographic silver halide emulsion containing a yellow color forming coupler, in which one hydrogen atom of an active methylene group is replaced by a 2,5-dioxo-1-imidazolidinyl group, in which a nitrogen atom at 3-position and a carbon atom at 4-position are connected to form a ring through a divalent aliphatic radical, a photographic element containing the emulsion and a method for forming color photographic images which comprises developing the image-exposed photographic silver halide emulsion with a primary aromatic amino developing agent. These yellow color forming couplers have a high coupling reactivity as well as no adverse effect on the bleaching of developed silver and thus they are suitable for use in rapid processing type color photographic materials.
