The surface protective sheet 1 has a supporting substrate 10 and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 20 provided on a front side of the supporting substrate 10. At least a portion of the supporting substrate 10, including the front side 10a, is made of a resin material that is composed primarily of a polyolefin and includes A: at least one of a fatty amide and a fatty acid metal salt, and B: an antioxidant. 摘要： A paint film-protecting sheet (1) that effectively prevents adhesive transfer to the paint film is provided. The paint film-protecting sheet (1) includes a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) layer (20), which is comprised of a non-crosslinking PSA, disposed on a polyolefin-based resin film serving as a supporting substrate (10). At least a surface portion (12) of the supporting substrate which adjoins the PSA layer is formed of a resin material that satisfies both of the following conditions: (1) it contains W wt % of a LLDPE having a density d of 0.925 g/cm3 or less, wherein W is greater than or equal to 20; and (2) it has a LLDPE content index α of 400 or more, the LLDPE content index α being defined as (0.935−d)×W×1000.

摘要： A paint film-protecting sheet, which is unwound from a roll for use, and in which occurrence of adhesive transfer at edges thereof is effectively prevented, and a method of manufacturing same are provided. The paint film-protecting sheet is in the form of a roll obtained by winding in a lengthwise direction a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet formed of a substrate in continuous sheet form and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer disposed on the substrate. The substrate comprises a resin component made primarily of polyethylene resin or polypropylene resin. The paint film-protecting sheet, after being unwound from the roll, has a percent shrinkage, in the lengthwise direction, of not greater than 1.2% when heated at 80° C. for 1 hour.

摘要： A paint film-protecting sheet that provides a high level of weather resistance and minimizes staining of the paint film, and a substrate for such a sheet are provided. The paint film-protecting sheet has a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) layer formed on a sheet-like substrate. The substrate has a surface resin layer (layer A) forming a surface of the substrate on the PSA layer side and one, two or more resin layers (layers B) superimposed on a back side of the layer A. The layer B contains an organic weathering stabilizer HMS having a weight-average molecular weight Mw of at least 1.5×103 in a predetermined amount Pb. The layer A is either free of the organic weathering stabilizer HMS or contains the stabilizer in a predetermined amount Pa which satisfies the condition Pa/Pb≦0.5.
