摘要: Flat and split yarn formed by extrusion molding, comprising as a main component an aliphatic polyester having a melt viscosity of 2.0.times.10.sup.3 -4.0.times.10.sup.4 poises at a temperature of 190.degree. C. and a shear rate of 100 sec.sup.-1, and having a melting point of 70.degree.-190.degree. C. The present invention provides flat and split yarn having excellent in heat stability and mechanical strength as well as having biodegradability.

摘要: Nonwoven fabrics made of an aliphatic polyester having a melt viscosity of 5.0.times.10.sup.2 -2.times.10.sup.4 poises at a temperature of 190.degree. C. at a shear rate of 100 sec.sup.-1 and a melting point of 70.degree.-190.degree. C. The nonwoven fabric has biodegradability when it is buried in the ground and it is also excellent in tensile strength and tear propagation strength. Thus, the nonwoven fabric of the present invention is useful for sanitary materials, medical materials, packaging materials, agricultural covering materials, filters, oil absorption materials, materials for a daily life, padding cloth materials for clothes, cell separators, drain sheets for constructions and the like.

摘要: A biodegradable disposable diaper comprising a combination of a liquid absorbing material, a liquid permeable surface material and an leakproof backing material, said liquid permeable material being formed of an aliphatic polyester resin obtained by reacting an aliphatic saturated polyester prepolymer having an end group which is materially a hydroxyl group with a coupling agent or formed of said aliphatic polyester resin and an aliphatic saturated polyester resin which has not been treated by said coupling agent. The disposable diaper has excellent mechanical strength, softness, feel of touch, productivity as well as biodegradability, air permeability and waterproofness.
