Abstract:
Data is set which instructs initiation of a phrase performance at a predetermined timing (beat) during a main automatic performance. When a switch for instructing execution of the phrase performance is operated during the main performance, such a control is performed to cause the phrase performance to start at the predetermined timing. Phrase performance instructing data is also prestored between main performance data. When the phrase performance instructing data is read out during the main performance, phrase performance data is read out from a phrase performance data memory in response to readout of the instructing data, so that the phrase performance is executed.
Abstract:
Automatic performance data for plural music pieces is stored in a memory. An order setting circuit for setting the order of automatically performing these music pieces is provided. The automatic performance data is read out in accordance with the order of performance set by the order setting circuit, whereby the plural music pieces are successively performed. By operating an instruction switch during performance of a certain music piece, a control is made in response to this instruction to stop the performance of the music piece which is being played and shift to performance of a next music piece in accordance with the set order of performance. The music which is being played may be stopped at a position at which the pattern, measure or other predetermined performance section ends. The order of performance may be previously determined or may be set at random.
Abstract:
An automatic performance apparatus able to freely specify any two points A and B during the ALL repeat automatic performance. When the specified point A is closer to the start of the tune sequence being repeated than the point B, the apparatus repeats the performance between the two points A and B. When point B is closer to the start of the tune sequence, the performance skips from point B to point A.
Abstract:

At least one selection operating element is arranged on the front surface of the casing at a location close to one end thereof for selecting a kind of data to be input. At least one value-input operating element is arranged in the front surface of the casing at a location close to another end thereof, for inputting a value of the kind of data selected by the selection operating element. The value of the selected kind of data input is stored. The selection operating element is inclined relative to an edge of the one end of the casing, and the value-input operating element is inclined relative to an edge of the another end of the casing. The apparatus is compact and provides efficient inputting of information such as performance data for an electronic musical instrument.
Abstract:
An acoustic signal producing apparatus wherein various musical effects are applied to a musical tone signal and an acoustic signal respectively produced at an internal tone generator and supplied from an external device such as a microphone, an electronic musical instrument or the like in such a manner that an applying state of the musical effects can be changed in accordance with various effect control parameters applied thereto.
Abstract:
A music performance data signal contains tone effect control messages to control the tone signal processor for imparting tone effects to the produced musical tones in a high-ranked model of tone producing apparatus in which many and complicated tone effects are available. In order that such a music performance signal can drive a low-ranked model of tone producing apparatus in which a small number of and simple tone effect are available, the tone effect control messages for the high-ranked model are converted to tone effect control messages which can realize similar tone effects as on the high-ranked model. For the tone effects not directly available in the low-ranked model, the tone effect control messages are converted with reference to conversion tables.
Abstract:
Provided is an information-providing system whereby a variety of information can be provided using a sound to a portable terminal device used by a user. The information-providing system includes a sound output device outputting, as a sound wave, identifying information modulated into a sound signal, an identifying-information resolution server, connected to an information-communication network, for identifying, based on the identifying information, address information for accessing a content server connected to an information-communication network; and a portable terminal device including a sound receiving section for receiving the sound wave outputted by the sound-emitting device, a demodulating section for demodulating the identifying information from the received sound wave, a resolution section for sending the demodulated identifying information to the identifying-information resolution server and acquiring the address information, and an accessing section for accessing the content server using the acquired address information.
Abstract:
In response to detection of a note-on instruction, a CPU assigns a tone generating unit comprising two tone generating channels and sets tone color control data of the assigned tone generating unit into tone generator registers. The tone color control data includes a parameter common to the two channels. Once the CPU gives a tone generation start instruction to a tone generator, the tone generator accumulates a frequency number common to the two channels to thereby generate a progressive phase common to the two channels. Waveform readout section reads out left-channel and right-channel waveform data from a waveform memory on the basis of the phase and waveform selecting information of the left and right channels. Tone characteristics of the read-out left- and right-channel waveform data are controlled by a characteristic control section on the basis of a characteristic control parameter common to the two channels.
Abstract:
Video picture signals are received via at least three channels. At least three control instructing operators are provided in correspondence with the channels. Each control instructing operator is operable to give a signal control instruction for the corresponding channel in accordance with an operated amount of the operator. Controller performs signal control on the video picture signals of the channels on the basis of the respective signal control instructions given via the control instructing operators. Synthesizer synthesizes the video picture signals of the channels having been subjected to the signal control by the controller. Video picture signals of two desired channels are designated, and a contact-type operator gives signal control instructions, corresponding to a predetermined position of the operator contacted by a human operator, with respect to the video picture signals of the designated two channels. By the signal control instructions, signal control is performed on the video picture signals of the designated two channels to thereby synthesize the video picture signals.
Abstract:
A music apparatus is provided with a memory device that stores waveform data, and a sound device that has a plurality of tone generating channels, each of which is tuned in normal setting effective to process the waveform data retrieved from the memory device so as to generate a musical sound. An input device is placed in either of an active state for inputting external waveform data and an inactive state where the external waveform data is not inputted. A detector device is provided to produces a detection signal when the input device switches between the active state and the inactive state. A control device responds to the detection signal when the input device switches to the active state for controlling the sound device to change at least one of the tone generating channels from the normal setting to alternative setting effective to admit and process the external waveform data inputted from the input device so as to generate an additional sound so that the sound device can generate mixture of the musical sound and the additional sound. Otherwise, the control device responds to the detection signal when the input device switches to the inactive state for controlling the sound device to restore that one tone generating channel from the alternative setting to the normal setting so that the sound device generates the musical sound alone.
