摘要: An erasable ball-point pen ink is disclosed. The ink is comprised of a rubber component, a volatile solvent, an organic pigment and a nonvolatile solvent, which additionally contains fine powders of silicon dioxide formed by the hydrolysis of silicon tetrachloride, the hydrolysis being carried out by a high temperature gas phase reaction; a semisolid substance; a soft solid substance having a melting point of not more than 130.degree. C.; a combination of fine powders of silicon dioxide formed by the hydrolysis of silicon tetrachloride, the hydrolysis being carried out by a high temperature gas phase reaction, and a semisolid substance; or a combination of fine powders of silicon dioxide formed by the hydrolysis of silicon tetrachloride, the hydrolysis being carried out by a high temperature gas phase reaction, and a soft solid substance having a melting point not higher than 130.degree. C. The ink can be used in a ball-point pen to make it possible to write fine letters and is capable of maintaining highly stable ink traces over long distances compared with presently available ball-point pen inks. The traces produced are even and show good intensity. Further, the ink does not produce substantial wear of ball holder with respect to the pen components. In addition to the excellent writing performances of the disclosed ink it retains the same or better erasability than erasable inks presently available in the market.

摘要: An erasable ball-point pen ink is described comprising a rubber component, a volatile solvent, a pigment and a nonvolatile solvent, said ink further containing at least one dispersant that is liquid at room temperature and completely soluble in said volatile solvent and which is selected from the group consisting of alkyl phosphate esters, amines and oxyethyleneoxypropylene block copolymers, by which a ball-point pen is available that ensures a very smooth ink flow and letter writing during any season of the year without blocking of the small clearance between the writing ball and the ball holder even when the writing tip is uncapped and exposed to the atmosphere for a prolonged period. The ink is particularly adapted to be used with ball-point pens for writing fine letters.

摘要: Provided is a thermal transfer recording medium which can be transferred well even onto a medium to be transferred such as a durable plastic film. The printed matters can obtain all together sufficiently high mechanical abrasion resistance, solvent resistance against various solvents and light fastness against rays such as UV rays. The above thermal transfer recording medium comprises at least a support and a thermal transfer ink layer provided on the support, wherein the thermal transfer ink layer contains a colorant and a vinyl chloride base copolymer obtained by copolymerizing three components of 50 to 90% by weight of vinyl chloride, 5 to 20% by weight of vinyl acetate and 10 to 30% by weight of hydroxyacrylate each based on the whole amount of the monomers.

摘要: An erasable black ink composition for use in ball-point pens is disclosed. The composition comprises rubber, a low boiling solvent, a black pigment, a quality adjuster and a lubricant, wherein the content of the rubber is 18.9 to 20% by weight of the composition, the ratio by weight of the low boiling solvent to the rubber is in the range of 1.56:1 to 1.64:1, the ratio by weight of the pigment to the rubber is in the range of 0.8:1 to 0.9:1, and the ratio by weight of the quality adjuster to the pigment is in the range of 1.7:1 to 1.8:1. Traces of the ink can be erased by a rubber eraser within an initial period of time.

摘要: It is an object to provide a thermal-transfer recording medium and its thermal-transfer recording method whereby it is possible to perform good thermal transfer to a durable transfer medium such as plastic film etc., and the transferred image is excellent in resistance to mechanical abrasion, and whereby color reproducibility is excellent when plural colors of thermal transferred inks are printed in layers. A thermal-transfer ink layer is provided which at least presents the visco-elastic characteristics that tan.delta. is of 1 or more and the complex dynamic viscosity falls within 100 to 40,000 Pa.s in the viscoelasticity measurement with a frequency of 1 Hz in the linear viscoelastic region of temperature from 100 to 150.degree. C. Alternatively, a thermal-transfer ink layer containing a coloring matter and a thermo-fusing resin is provided on a support, and the thermo-fusing resin presents the visco-elastic characteristics that tan.delta. is of 1.7 or more and the complex dynamic viscosity falls within 10 to 20,000 Pa.s in the viscoelasticity measurement with a frequency of 1 Hz in the linear viscoelastic region of temperature from 100 to 150.degree.
