摘要： An input device includes a case, a ball, a magnetic detecting element, a wiring board, and a rocking part. The ball is rotatably accommodated in the case, exposed from an opening of the case, and is embedded with a magnetic substance having a plurality of protrusions or with a plurality of magnets. In a case the magnetic substance is embedded in the ball, a magnet is placed where its magnetism affects the plurality of protrusions. The magnetic detecting element is disposed facing the ball with a certain gap. The switch is mounted on the wiring board. The rocking part is placed between the case and the switch, supporting the case in a swingable manner with respect to the switch. The switch is turned on and off corresponding to a rocking motion of the rocking part. The ball and the magnetic detecting element are attached to the rocking part so that the gap is kept constant with each other when the rocking part rocks.

摘要： An input device includes a case, a ball, a magnetic detecting element, a wiring board, and a rocking part. 摘要： An input apparatus includes a case, an operation body stored rotatably in the case, a magnetic body fixed to the operation body, a magnet provided around the operation body, a magnetic detection element for detecting a magnetic flux from the magnetic body, and a frame for retaining the case. The magnetic detection element faces the operation body with a predetermined space therebetween. Chemical mechanical polishing is executed to expose the insulating surface of the substrate and leave a portion of the conductive film in the trench. The surface of the substrate having the exposed conductive film in the trench and the exposed insulating surface is exposed to first liquid. After being exposed to the first liquid, the surface of the substrate is exposed to second liquid. The first liquid is either solution which contains at least one first substance selected from a first group consisting of benzotriazole, derivative of benzotriazole and interfacial active agent, or water. The second solution is solution which contains the first substance at a density higher than a density of the first liquid.

摘要： A regulating apparatus having an output node and being operative for regulating the voltage level at the output node in response to a reference signal provided as an input to the regulating apparatus. The regulating apparatus includes a linear amplifier stage operative for receiving the reference signal and being capable of sourcing current to the output node when the reference signal indicates that a present voltage level at the output node is less than a desired voltage level at the output node. The regulating apparatus also includes a switching regulator, which is controlled by the linear amplifier stage, and which is operative for sourcing current to the output node when the amount of current being sourced to the output node by the linear amplifier stage exceeds a predetermined threshold.

摘要： A method of regulating an output voltage by utilizing a switching regulator, where the switching regulator includes a high side switch, a low side switch having an active diode, a controller coupled to the high side switch and the low side switch, and a current measuring circuit coupled to the high side switch. The method includes the steps of: measuring the output voltage and if the output voltage is below a desired level, activating the high side switch so as to provide current to a load capacitor via a load inductor, if the voltage is above the desired level, activating the low side switch so as to sink current from the load capacitor via the load inductor; and utilizing the current measuring circuit to measure the current flowing through the high side switch in either a positive direction or a negative direction, where the controller is operable for controlling the current measuring circuit and disabling active components contained in the current measuring circuit and the active diode when the active components are not utilized during operation of the switching regulator so as to reduce operational power requirements of the switching regulator.
