摘要: Disclosed is an electrochemical sensor comprising a work electrode and a reference electrode, said sensor adapted to measure the characteristics of a liquid under test, based on the relative electric potential difference and electric current between the work electrode and the reference electrode both immersed in the liquid under test, said work electrode comprising a substrate that reacts to the liquid under test for generating an electric potential according to the concentration of the liquid under test, and said reference electrode comprising a substrate that reacts to the liquid under test for generating a fixed electric potential. According to the present invention, at least one of the work electrode and the reference electrode comprises said substrate coated with a function film for serving to generate the electric potential through the intervention of the film between said substrate and the liquid under test.

According to the present invention said fat deposition related factor acquisition unit acquires a factor related to fat deposition of the pregnant woman, said term-after-pregnancy acquisition unit acquires a term that has elapsed after pregnancy, and said number-of-activity step acquisition unit acquires the number of activity steps taken by the pregnant woman. Furthermore, said activity energy consumption calculation unit calculates activity energy consumption caused by said number of activity steps acquired, and said proper energy consumption storage unit stores proper energy consumption for the pregnant woman. Moreover, said comparison and assessment unit compares the activity energy consumption calculated by said activity energy consumption calculation unit with the corresponding proper energy consumption stored in said proper energy consumption storage unit for assessing the activity energy consumption, and said comparison and assessment result output unit outputs the result of comparison and assessment for the activity energy consumption made by said comparison and assessment unit.

摘要: A polarographic densitometer has a voltage applying circuit, a sensor unit, an impedance reduction circuit, and a current/density conversion unit. The voltage applying circuit applies specified voltage, and the sensor unit includes a group of electrodes to produce a current output in response to any reaction caused in a specimen when the specified voltage is applied by the voltage applying circuit. Furthermore, the impedance reduction circuit reduces impedance of the specimen between the electrodes of the group, and the current/density conversion unit converts the current output of the sensor unit when the impedance is reduced by the impedance reduction circuit into the density of specific material in the specimen.

摘要: A water quality analyzer comprises: sensor electrodes 1a, 1b made of different metals from each other, the electrodes in a liquid of inspecting object generating a sense voltage in proportion to the liquid's impurities concentration; an operational amplifier OP1 amplifying the sense voltage without inverting to provide for a CPU 3; a resistor R0 whose one end is connected to the electrode 1a; and a voltage divider 2 applying a voltage obtained by dividing the sense voltage by a prescribed division ratio to R0's another end. The CPU 3 calculates input signal from OP1 to obtain chlorine concentration and displays the calculated result on a LCD 4 in a measurement mode, and sets the division ratio of the divider 2 so that sense voltage across electrodes 1a, 1b soaked in a liquid including prescribed concentration chloride approximately agrees with a reference voltage of prescribed concentration in a sense-voltage calibration mode.

Then, the meter detects an on-measurement residual chlorine reaction amount of the sample water in the detection section and determines a post-calibration residual chlorine concentration of the sample water from data for computing the post-calibration residual chlorine concentration based on the on-measurement residual chlorine reaction amount and the calibration factor stored in a residual chlorine concentration computation data storage section in a residual chlorine concentration computation section.
