摘要: The present invention relates to a camera system which is arranged to find the amount of emission of a main emission on the basis of a measured light value obtained during a preliminary emission, and perform control of the main emission. More specifically, the present invention provides a camera system which is arranged to inhibit processing, such as abnormal-reflection correction, during execution of a specific kind of photography, such as bounce flash photography, perform control processing suited to the specific kind of photography, and execute correct amount-of-light control.

摘要: Even when a protective film, an insulation film or the like is present above a film to be corrected, only a defect of the film to be corrected which is arranged below such an upper-layer film is corrected without damaging the upper-layer film. In a display device forming a display region where a plurality of films including an insulation film, a semiconductor film and a conductive film are patterned in a given pattern and stacked on a substrate, at a point of time that at least one correction portion out of a correction portion which separates a short-circuit defect, a correction portion which connects an opening defect, a correction portion which removes a standard deviation defect, and a correction portion which separates a standard deviation defect of the pattern is corrected, at least one upper-layer film is present above a film to be corrected at the correction portion and the correction is applied to the film to be corrected while leaving the upper-layer film as it is.

摘要: A thin film transistor structure for use in driving liquid crystal display elements has a semiconductor active layer, a control electrode layer underlying the active layer with an insulating layer interposed therebetween and first and second main electrode layers formed on or above the active layer in a spaced relation with each other to define a channel in the active layer in cooperation with the control electrode layer between the main electrode layers. The active layer has a first peripheral edge portion generally perpendicular to the direction of the channel and a second peripheral edge portion generally not perpendicular to the direction of the channel. The first and/or second main electrode layer extends over the first and/or second peripheral edge portion of the active layer such that at least a part of the first peripheral edge portion and/or at least part of the second peripheral edge portion of the active layer has its side face directly covered with the main electrode layer.

摘要: Production of DL-serine by heating a strong acid type cation exchange resin having aziridine-2-carboxylic acid absorbed thereto. Specifically, an industrial process for producing DL-serine is provided which comprises treating an alpha-halogeno-beta-aminopropionitrile or its mineral acid salt in water or a water-containing organic solvent with an alkali or alkaline earth metal hydroxide to form an alkali or alkaline earth metal aziridine-2-carboxylate, treating the reaction mixture with a strong acid type cation exchange resin to cause adsorption of aziridine-2-carboxylic acid, and thereafter heating the cation-exchange resin.
