    摘要: A flexible display module includes a flexible display panel and at least one flexible circuit board. The flexible display panel includes a flexible plastic substrate, a first driving circuit layer, a display layer and a second driving circuit layer. The thickness of the flexible plastic substrate is smaller than 30 micrometers. The first driving circuit layer having a view area and a peripheral circuit area is disposed on the flexible plastic substrate. The display layer is disposed on the first driving circuit layer and corresponding to the view area. The second driving circuit area is disposed on the display layer. The flexible circuit board is electrically connected to the peripheral circuit area through an anisotropic conductive film. In addition, a method of manufacturing a flexible display module is also provided.

    摘要: In a flexible display panel and a fabricating method thereof, the flexible display panel includes a flexible substrate, a plurality of electro-phoretic pixel units, a plurality of electro-wetting pixel units, a transparent protective layer and a driving circuit. The electro-phoretic pixel units and the electro-wetting pixel units are formed in a first displaying area and a second displaying area of the flexible substrate respectively. The transparent protective layer is formed on the electro-phoretic pixel units and the electro-wetting pixel units, and the driving circuit is formed in the non-displaying area of the flexible substrate and electrically connected to the electro-phoretic pixel units and the electro-wetting pixel units. The flexible display panel may display static pictures through the electro-phoretic pixel units and display animation through the electro-wetting pixel units. Therefore, the flexible display panel has both the abilities for saving power and displaying animation.

    摘要: A flexible display device includes a display panel and a plurality of curving-restricting structures. The display panel has a display surface and a bottom surface opposite thereto. The display surface has a visible region and an outer region surrounding the visible region. The curving-restricting structures may be disposed on at least one of the outer region of the display surface and the bottom surface of the display panel. Each curving-restricting structure has a top surface and at least a slanted side wall. The top surfaces of adjacent curving-restricting structures are spaced with each other, and the slanted side walls of adjacent curving-restricting structures face each other. When the flexible display device are curved to a predetermined extent, adjacent curving-restricting structures may resist against with each other to prevent the display panel from being unduly curved to be damaged, and thus a use reliability of the flexible display device is improved.

    摘要: In a fabricating method of flexible display device, firstly, a sacrificial layer is formed on a first rigid substrate. Secondly, a first flexible substrate is formed on the sacrificial layer. The bonding force of the sacrificial layer absorbing a breaking-bond light may be broken and the first flexible substrate is transparent for the breaking-bond light. Moreover, the transmission rate of visible light of the first flexible substrate is larger than that of the sacrificial layer. Then, the sacrificial layer is illuminated by the breaking-bond light for breaking the bonding force of the sacrificial layer to separate the first rigid substrate from the first flexible substrate. Since the first rigid substrate has a high transmission rate of visible light, may be separated from the first flexible substrate by the first breaking-bond light with low energy, the cost of fabricating the flexible display device may display the images with real color. Therefore, the chromatic performance of the flexible display device may be enhanced.
