摘要: In a mobile network with a plurality of access networks, a control node controls access of a user equipment to that one of the access networks which is currently used by the user equipment. The control node determines an access capability of the user equipment in the access network. The access capability includes whether an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) voice over Packet Switched (PS) session is supported. The control node provides an indication of the determined access capability to a Home Subscriber Server (HSS) associated with the user equipment. The indication may then be retrieved from the HSS and used to control termination of a connection to the user equipment.

摘要: A method and apparatus for transferring a session from a packet switched access network to a circuit switched access network. A Mobility Management Entity receives a service type indicator from a gateway node. The service type indicator indicates a type of service for the session, and is associated with bearers used for the session. The Mobility Management Entity subsequently receives, from an eNodeB, an indication that the session is to be transferred from the packet switched network to the circuit switched access network. The Mobility Management Entity determines the bearers associated with the session using the service type indicator, and initiates transfer of the session using those bearers. This ensures that the correct bearers are transferred regardless of whether or not identifiers such as QCI values have been ascribed to other types of service.

摘要: A method is proposed for providing a mobile terminal associated with a user with access to a visited Internet Protocol based mobile communication network. The mobile terminal generates a network information element that comprises a home network identifying element that identifies a home network of the user, and a domain name of the visited IP based mobile communication network as a base domain identifier. The mobile terminal then provides this special network information element to visited IP based mobile communication network, which executes a subscription generating procedure for generating a subscription for the user upon recognizing the special network information element and provides the mobile terminal access based on the generated subscription.

摘要: A method and apparatus for key management in a communication network. A Key Management Server (KMS) receives from a first device a request for a token associated with a user identity, the user identity being associated with a second device. The KMS then sends the requested token and a user key associated with the user to the first device. The KMS subsequently receives the token from the second device. A second device key is generated using the user key and a modifying parameter associated with the second device. The modifying parameter is available to the first device for generating the second device key. The second device key is then sent from the KMS to the second device. The second device key can be used by the second device to authenticate itself to the first device, or for the first device to secure communications to the second device.

摘要: A method of operating a policy and charging rules function (“PCRF”) node to handle an internet protocol multimedia subsystem (“IMS”) emergency call can include receiving an identity request from a proxy call session control function (“P-CSCF”) of an IMS network. The identity request can include an internet protocol (“IP”) address for a user equipment (“UE”). The method can further include, responsive to receiving the identity request, determining one or more identifiers of the UE based on the IP address. The one or more identifiers are separate from the IP address. The method can further include, responsive to determining the one or more identifiers, transmitting an indication of the one or more identifiers of the UE to the P-CSCF.

The loss of a secure association between a P-CSCF of the IMS and a user equipment, UE, served by the P-CSCF is detected, or a UE is relocated from a further P-CSCF to the first mentioned P-CSCF. The first mentioned P-CSCF sends a reregistration request to the UE; receives a SIP REGISTER message from the UE; and performs P-CSCF registration with the UE including establishing a new secure association with the UE.

摘要: A method in a proxy call session control function, P-CSCF, of handling an unauthenticated emergency call originating from a roaming user equipment that is not attached to the P-CSCF. The P-CSCF receives a session initiation protocol (SIP) REGISTER request from the UE, where the REGISTER request relating to the emergency registration. The P-CSCF determines an IP address of the UE. The P-CSCF sends an identity query to a policy and charging rules function (PCRF) indicating the IP address of the UE and requesting other identifiers of the UE. The P-CSCF receives one or more other identifiers of the UE from the PCRF. The P-CSCF obtains a TEL and/or SIP uniform resource identifier (URI) for the UE on the basis of at least one of the one or more other identifiers. The P-CSCF sends a 200 OK response to the UE in response to the SIP REGISTER request, where the 200 OK response includes the TEL and/or SIP URI. Also provided are corresponding methods in other nodes and for authenticated emergency calls, and apparatus for implementing the methods.
