摘要: A method is disclosed of a transmitter configured to transmit a physical layer packet having a plurality of midambles. The method includes applying a respective phase shift for each midamble of the physical layer packet, and transmitting the physical layer packet. The respective phase shift is applied to at least a portion of symbols of the midamble.
A method is also disclosed of a receiver configured to receive a physical layer packet having a plurality of midambles. The method includes receiving the physical layer packet, and counteracting a respective phase shift for each midamble of the physical layer packet. Counteracting the respective phase shift includes applying an opposite of the respective phase shift to at least a portion of symbols of the midamble or compensating the respective phase shift for at least a portion of symbols of the midamble.
Corresponding apparatuses, and computer program product are also disclosed.-

The multi-layer transmission comprises multiple layers having different robustnesses (704, 706) on the radio frequency. As to a method aspect of the technique, first data of a first hybrid automatic repeat request, HARQ, process is transmitted on a first layer of the multi-layer transmission simultaneously with second data of a second HARQ process on a second layer of the multi-layer transmission.

摘要: Methods, apparatus, and device-readable mediums are disclosed relating to wireless access in a network requiring a carrier-sense mechanism. One aspect provides a method performed by a transmitting device for transmitting to a receiving device in a wireless communications network. The transmitting device comprises a plurality of antenna elements. The method comprises: performing a directional carrier-sense assessment for one or more sub-bands configured for transmissions between the transmitting device and the receiving device, the directional carrier-sense assessment utilizing beamforming to detect a respective level of wireless activity on each of the sub-bands in a particular direction for transmissions to the receiving device; selecting a respective transmit power for each sub-band based on the determined level of wireless activity; and transmitting to the receiving device in the particular direction, using the respective selected transmit power for each sub-band.

The invention to solve the problem of false detection of an MC-OOK modulated wake-up signal in an IEEE 802.11 system using OFDM.

The at least one wake-up packet coordinates the sending of the responses by the broadcasting devices (21, 22, 23, 24) with respect to each other.

摘要: A method for operating an access point providing access to a wireless network for a plurality of wireless devices, wherein the wireless network includes at least one transmission channel with a sequence of transmission slots. The method includes assigning a first transmission slot to a first wireless device for a scheduled transmission with a priority access to the first transmission slot for the first wireless device, detecting during the first transmission slot that the first wireless device is currently not transmitting data in the assigned first transmission slot, and transmitting an indication to at least a subset of the plurality of wireless devices indicating that at least a time range in the first transmission slot until an end of the first transmission slot is available to the plurality of wireless devices for a data transmission using a random access procedure.
