摘要: A method is disclosed of a transmitter configured to transmit a physical layer packet having a plurality of midambles. The method includes applying a respective phase shift for each midamble of the physical layer packet, and transmitting the physical layer packet. The respective phase shift is applied to at least a portion of symbols of the midamble.
A method is also disclosed of a receiver configured to receive a physical layer packet having a plurality of midambles. The method includes receiving the physical layer packet, and counteracting a respective phase shift for each midamble of the physical layer packet. Counteracting the respective phase shift includes applying an opposite of the respective phase shift to at least a portion of symbols of the midamble or compensating the respective phase shift for at least a portion of symbols of the midamble.
Corresponding apparatuses, and computer program product are also disclosed.

摘要: A wireless station (11) associates to an access point (10) of a wireless communication system. The access point (10) operates on a first wireless channel. While the wireless station (11) is associated to the access point (10), the wireless station (11) receives periodically transmitted beacons on one or more second wireless channels, which are different from the first wireless channel, e.g., beacons from other access points (10). Based on the received beacons, the wireless station (11) performs measurements for sensing one or more objects in an environment of the wireless station (11).

摘要: A method for a wireless transmitter is disclosed. The method comprises transmitting a wake-up signal over a frequency range during a time interval by transmitting a first signal part over a first frequency interval within the frequency range during the time interval and transmitting a second signal part over a second frequency interval within the frequency range during the time interval. The first and second frequency intervals are non-overlapping. The first signal part has a first auto-correlation value, and the second signal part is specifically constructed to provide a second autocorrelation value of the signal comprising the first and second signal parts which is lower than the first auto-correlation value. The invention to solve the problem of false detection of an MC-OOK modulated wake-up signal in an IEEE 802.11 system using OFDM.

摘要: An apparatus, method and wireless device for fast scanning of a wireless communications medium are disclosed. According to one aspect, a method includes tuning a transceiver of the wireless node to a first frequency. The method further includes computing a first difference frequency, the first difference frequency being a difference between the first frequency and a second frequency. The method further includes generating a first control signal to configure a first backscattering device to switch between at least two states at a switching frequency equal to the first difference frequency.

摘要: A wireless-local area network access point (101, 102; 800; 1100) sends at least one wake-up packet for activating broadcasting devices (21, 22, 23, 24) in vicinity of the wireless-local area network access point (101, 102; 800; 1100). In response to the at least one wake-up packet, the wireless-local area network access point (101, 102; 800; 1100) receives responses from the broadcasting devices (21, 22, 23, 24). Each response comprises an identifier of the broadcasting device (21, 22, 23, 24) sending the response. The at least one wake-up packet coordinates the sending of the responses by the broadcasting devices (21, 22, 23, 24) with respect to each other.

摘要: A method for operating an access point providing access to a wireless network for a plurality of wireless devices, wherein the wireless network includes at least one transmission channel with a sequence of transmission slots. The method includes assigning a first transmission slot to a first wireless device for a scheduled transmission with a priority access to the first transmission slot for the first wireless device, detecting during the first transmission slot that the first wireless device is currently not transmitting data in the assigned first transmission slot, and transmitting an indication to at least a subset of the plurality of wireless devices indicating that at least a time range in the first transmission slot until an end of the first transmission slot is available to the plurality of wireless devices for a data transmission using a random access procedure.
