摘要: The invention relates to methods and devices for enabling a connection of a wireless communication device released by a source radio base station to be resumed by a target radio base station. In a first aspect, a method of a source radio base station of enabling a connection of a wireless communication device released by the source radio base station to be resumed by a target radio base station is provided. The method comprises acquiring an indication that a connection established with the wireless communication device is to be released, identifying a target base station with which the connection to be released can be resumed for the wireless communication device, and transmitting, to the identified target base station, information required to resume the connection to be released by the source base station for the wireless communication device.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to telecommunications. In one of its aspects, the disclosure concerns a method, performed by a first network node, for handling communication in a wireless communication system. The method comprises transmitting, to a second network node, a message related to a connection establishment between the first network node and the second network node, wherein the message comprises at least one of: a first indication indicating whether a list of served cells of the first network node comprised in the message is a partial list of cells; a second indication indicating a maximum number of cells in a list of served cells of the second network node that the first network node can receive; and a third indication indicating a reason for a failure of the connection establishment.

摘要: An example wireless device (12) in a dormant state improves its selection of a camping cell by accounting for multi-cell configurations. Among other things, a multi-cell configuration may improve throughput between a wireless communication network (10) and the wireless device (12), based on the network (10) serving the wireless device (12) from two or more cells (24). By camping on a cell (24) that belongs to a multi-cell configuration that is possible for the wireless device (12), the wireless device (12) reduces the time and signaling needed to establish that multi-cell configuration, upon the wireless device (12) connecting to the network (10) via the camping cell. Accounting for multi-cell configurations may be done jointly, along with accounting for conventional priorities, such as conventionally-prioritized frequencies and Radio Access Technologies (RATs) and may be incorporated into the ranking of cells (24) based on per-cell radio-signal measurements.

摘要: A radio network node receives a message that includes a New Radio, NR, neighbour information Element, IE. The NR neighbour information IE indicates that an NR cell neighbouring a served cell can provide dual connectivity together with the served cell. The radio network node may perform traffic steering based on the NR neighbour information IE. The radio network node may for example steer wireless devices capable of dual connectivity to the served cell and/or steer wireless devices not capable of dual connectivity to a different cell.

摘要: According to an aspect, a network node operating in a first RAN according to a first RAT receives a handover request for a user equipment from a cell in a second RAN operating according to a second RAT. After handover of the user equipment to a cell in the first RAN is completed, the network node configures the user equipment to measure frequencies corresponding to the second RAN. Based on measurements reported by the user equipment for the frequencies, the network node identifies detected cells exceeding a measurement threshold, and sends a handover report towards the second RAN. The handover report includes, for at least one detected cell exceeding the measurement threshold, a physical cell identifier and a frequency identifier for the detected cell. The network node obtains configuration information for the detected cell, from another node, and uses the obtained configuration information for subsequent mobility procedures.
