摘要: A method of establishing a Voice over Internet Protocol, VoI P, call between a calling User Equipment, UE, and a called UE, wherein said calling UE is served by a core network via a packet-switched radio access network, PS-RAN, and wherein a bearer is to be established between said calling U E and a gateway node in said core network, over said PS-RAN, for obtaining access to an Internet Protocol, IP, multimedia subsystem, I MS, network, wherein said method comprises the steps receiving, by a an IMS Call Session Control Function, CSCF, node a notification message thereby notifying said I MS node that said VoIP call establishment is in progress and initiating, by said I MS CSCF, re-establishment of said bearer between said calling UE and said gateway node, over said PS-RAN, in case said establishment of said bearer has failed due to a temporary failure.

摘要: A technique for handling an access from a user equipment (110) accessing an application function (150) is provided. As to a method aspect of the technique, the access is received via a packet core network (140) of a mobile telecommunications network (100). The application function (150) determines that the access from the user equipment (110) fulfills a predefined access pattern. The application function (150) triggers sending of a control message to the packet core network (140) in response to the determination. The control message controls the packet core network (140) to terminate a session with the user equipment (110).

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for updating policy and charging rules relating to early dialogs in session initiation protocol forking in a telecommunications network. A node comprises a receiver (304), configured to receive a plurality of preliminary responses originating from a plurality of terminating end points as part of Session Initiation Protocol, SIP, forking. The node comprises an early dialog controller (314), configured, for each received preliminary response, to determine a unique identifier and to control a transmitting means, which may be a transmitter (302), to transmit a corresponding preliminary message comprising the unique identifier to a further node (400) for use as a Policy and Charging Rules Function, PCRF (200), for creating an early dialog by the further node. The receiver is further configured to receive updated data for at least one of the preliminary responses. The node further comprises an updated dialog controller (316) configured to retrieve the unique identifier corresponding to the at least one preliminary response and control the transmitter to transmit an updating message based on the updated data and comprising the retrieved unique identifier to the further node for updating the corresponding early dialog.

摘要: A method is provided for use in a communication system that includes a first terminal and an emergency center. The method includes transmitting, by a second terminal, an indicator indicating that emergency service is required for the first terminal, and automatically establishing a call session between the first terminal and the emergency center in response to the indicator.

摘要: A method of operating an emergency call procedure in a telecommunications network includes storing, for a user of an IMS network, emergency contact Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs) of one or more emergency contacts of the user who may be contacted by emergency services in the event of an emergency call from the user. The method also includes receiving an emergency call from the user and providing the emergency contact URIs to a Public Safety Answering Point, PSAP.
