摘要: A method, network node and wireless device (WD) for implementing network strategies for maximum bandwidth (BW) and maximum component carrier (CC) user assistance information (UAI) utilization are disclosed. According to one aspect, a method in a network node includes receiving UAI including an indication of at least one of a zero bandwidth for a frequency band and a component carrier to be disabled. The method also includes determining an allocation of at least one of a bandwidth and at least one component carrier based at least in part on whether the indicated at least one of the zero bandwidth and the component carrier to be disabled would exclude a primary component carrier by which the network node and the WD maintain communication in a cell.

摘要: A wireless communication device having a receiving module, a transmitting module, and a processor which includes a determining module, and a processing module, wherein the wireless communication device is arranged to perform a method for power saving when operating in idle mode in a wireless communication system. Transmissions of a first set of reference symbols, RSs, and a second set of RSs are provided in the wireless communication system. The method includes estimating transmission pattern of the second set of RSs, and determining when to wake up in the idle mode to perform associated measurements based on the estimated transmission pattern of the second set of RSs. The first set of RSs are provided periodically, and the second set of RSs are provided in any of periodic, semi-persistent or aperiodic transmissions.

摘要: A wireless device and a method therein for performing a transmission at a changed Coverage Enhancement (CE) level in a random access procedure. The wireless device receives a random access order indicating a first preamble and a first carrier. Further, the wireless device transmits, to a network node, the first preamble on the first carrier using a first CE level. In the absence of a valid response after a number of transmissions, the wireless device determines a second CE level that is different from the first CE level. Thereafter, the wireless device selects, in a predictable way for the network node, a carrier that is supporting the second CE level, and transmits, to the network node, a preamble on the carrier using the second CE level.

摘要: A communications network can include a communication device and a network node. The communication device can receive a notification message from the network node. The communication device can determine whether the network node will transmit control information that is associated with the communication device via a multicast control channel (“MCCH”) based on the notification message. Responsive to determining that the network node will transmit the control information, the communication device can determine a time offset indicating an amount of time that will be between the notification message and the control information. Responsive to determining the time offset, the communication device can determine whether to enter a lower power state based on the time offset.
