    摘要: A cassette for erasing remnant radiation images on a stimulable phosphor sheet without the necessity of taking out the sheet includes a casing for accommodating the stimulable phosphor sheet and a cover pivotally mounted to the casing so as to be opened or closed. The cassette also includes a light reflecting member for reflecting or diffusing the light introduced from outside the cassette for irradiation on an image recording region of the sheet, or a light transmitting member for transmitting the light introduced from outside the cassette or the light from an inner light source, or a light emitting device mounted at least in register wiht the image recording area of the stimulable phosphor sheet contained in the cassette.An erasure device for a stimulable phosphor sheet employing the cassette is adapted to erase radiation energies stored in the sheet by irradiating the sheet with an erasure light, and includes a housing, a device provided in the housing for opening the cassette placed at a predetermined position within the housing and accommodating the stimulable phosphor sheet to be erased, and a light source device provided in the housing and adapted for irradiating the erasure light on the stimulable phosphor sheet within the cassette in the opened state. The arrangement is suitably applied to cases wherein the stimulable phosphor sheet is stored without being used for prolonged time, in which cases the sheet may be employed directly since the secondary erasure directly before usage of the sheet is not required.

A film for preventing reflection of stimulating rays is closely contacted with a light input face of the light guide member. Or, a filter for absorbing the stimulating rays reflected by the stimulable phosphor sheet and transmitting the light emitted by the stimulable phosphor sheet is positioned between the stimulating ray incidence point on the stimulable phosphor sheet and the light input face of the light guide member.

    摘要: A rack for housing recording media for an electron microscope includes a vertically movable rack for accommodating the recording media and composed of a plurality of shelves, and a unit for pushing out the recording media as well as a unit for entrance and exit of the recording media are provided at a predetermined height position. Two-dimensional sensors or cassettes for photographic films are accommodated within the rack. For photography, the rack is moved up and down to extract the desired two-dimensional sensors or cassettes for photographic films by the recording media pushing unit and the exit unit. After photography, the recording media are returned by the recording media entrance unit to the original position in the rack, so that a single magazine suffices for the receiving magazine and the feed magazine.

    摘要: A radiation image read-out apparatus comprises an optical system for scanning a stimulable phosphor sheet carrying a radiation image stored therein by stimulating rays, a light guide member for guiding light emitted by the stimulable phosphor sheet upon exposure to stimulating rays, a light guiding mirror for reflecting the emitted light to the light guide member, and a photoelectric converter for detecting the light guided by the light guide member.
