    摘要: A plurality of arrangements for detecting an overload of energy supplied to an output part enables selecting latch-off or auto-recovery overload protection by the operation of a switching device. When the drain current peak of the switching device exceeds a predetermined level denoting an overload, the FB pin voltage also rises to latch off, and when the drain current peak then reaches a maximum level, the CC pin voltage drops to a predetermined level and limits the oscillation period of the switching device because output power cannot be increased even if the load increases further. Latch-off overload protection can be applied when the drain current peak exceeding a predetermined level is detected, and auto-recovery overload protection can be applied when the CC pin voltage is detected to drop to a predetermined level.

    摘要: A switching power supply apparatus having a highly accurate overvoltage protection function which is free of erroneous operation is provided. A regulating circuit connected to an auxiliary winding generates an AC voltage proportional to a voltage component in which the ringing component has been removed from the AC voltage induced in the auxiliary winding by the switching operation of a switching element. If the peak value of the AC voltage generated by the regulating circuit is equal to or greater than a prescribed value, an overvoltage detection circuit controls the switching operation of the switching element so as to reduce the output DC voltage.

    摘要: A high-voltage generator employing a piezoelectric transformer has an inverter having input and output terminals connected to input terminals of the piezoelectric transformer, respectively; a feedback resistor connected to the input terminals of the piezoelectric transformer in parallel with the inverter; and first and second capacitors. The first capacitor is connected between the input terminal of the inverter and a ground. The second capacitor is connected between the output terminal of the inverter and the ground. The inverter, feedback resistor, and capacitors form a self-exciting oscillator to drive the piezoelectric transformer so that the piezoelectric transformer produces a high-voltage output. Since the inverter, feedback resistor, and capacitors are small, thin and light, the high-voltage generator as a whole is also small, thin and light.

A cooling temperature of the fluid is preset. A temperature of the cooled fluid is detected, and an opening degree of the flow rate regulator valve is changed when there is a difference between the detected temperature and the preset temperature. Simultaneously, either a temperature difference of the cooling water and the fluid or a flow rate of the cooling water is detected. The opening degree of the flow rate regulator valve is corrected or compensated on the basis of a result of the detection, thus enabling suitable temperature control of the fluid in accordance with a variation of the temperature or flow rate of the cooling water.
