    摘要: An image processing apparatus acquires and transforms first plane image data representing a space having a depth. The apparatus includes a vanishing point estimating unit for estimating a vanishing point of the first plane image data, an angle-of-view estimating unit for estimating an angle of view of the first plane image data, and an image generating unit for generating, on the basis of the vanishing point estimated by the vanishing point estimating unit and the angle of view estimated by the angle-of-view estimating unit, second plane image data corresponding to a case in which the first plane image data is projected onto a portion corresponding to the angle of view on a curved surface of a cylinder having a predetermined radius by using, as a reference point, a position being the center of the cylinder and being equal in height to the vanishing point.

    摘要: An image processing apparatus includes: an imaging information calculation unit acquiring a first image and higher-resolution second images, and calculating coordinate positions of the second images to the first image and differences in imaging direction between second cameras and a first camera; an eyepoint conversion unit generating eyepoint conversion images obtained by converting the second images based on the differences in imaging direction so that eyepoints of the second cameras coincide with an eyepoint of the first camera and matching the first image with the eyepoint conversion images to calculate phase deviations of the eyepoint conversion images from the first image; and an image synthesizing unit extracting high-frequency images, having frequency components higher than or equal to a predetermined frequency band, from the second images, and pasting the high-frequency images at the coordinate positions in correspondence with the first image to eliminate the phase deviations to generate a synthesized image.

    摘要: A plurality of projector apparatuses project images based on inputted image signals onto a screen so that the images are displaced relative to one another by a predetermined amount and superimposed. The luminances of an image region composed of a plurality of projected images that have been projected onto the screen are observed. Luminance values of pixels that construct an image to be projected by each projector apparatus are adjusted based on an observation result and are supplied to the plurality of projector apparatuses. The image region composed of the plurality of projected images is presented by superimposing a first projected image and a second projected image that has a higher resolution than the first projected image. Predetermined pixels in the image region are presented by superimposing corresponding pixels in the projected images from n adjacent projector apparatuses.
