摘要： An electronic musical instrument, which can easily select waveform data assigned to each key or each key range of a keyboard, is provided. When assignment of waveform data to a key range including one or more keys of a keyboard is edited, the assignment state of the waveform data is displayed, and a mode setting operation of an operating unit is allowed in response to display of the assignment state of the waveform data. Waveform selection mode is set in response to operation of the operating unit by the user. When a key of the keyboard is operated in waveform selection mode, waveform data assigned to the operated key is selected, and an assignment state of the selected waveform data is allowed to be editable.

摘要： To a tone generation apparatus is removably attachable a plug-in board for generating a tone on the basis of performance information and extending the tone generating function of the tone generation apparatus. Tone color name information and tone color parameter name information of tone color data possessed by the attached plug-in board is stored in a nonvolatile memory. Thus, any tone color possessed by the plug-in board can be known with reference only to the nonvolatile memory and without a need to refer to the plug-in board. The nonvolatile memory can also store tone color data of a custom voice obtained by editing original tone color data of the plug-in board. With this arrangement, the plug-in board is allowed to obtain the tone color data of the custom voice from the nonvolatile memory, as necessary.

摘要： In an electronic musical apparatus, a media ID (MD1, MD2, MD3, MD4, MD5) is associated with each recording media of a memory card 8, hard disk device 10, flash memory ROM 11, CD-ROM 12 and internet 15. Each media ID is encrypted to be recorded on a different position in a ROM 2. Upon reading a music content, the media ID of the corresponding recording media is decoded to decode the music content based upon the media ID and the secret key, and then, the resultant is temporarily stored in a RAM 3. Upon writing a music content, it is encrypted based upon the media ID corresponding to a recording media and the secret key, and the content in the RAM 3 is deleted. This makes cryptanalysis hard to thereby enhance a protection level of a music content in an electronic musical apparatus.

The generator includes first windings 15-1 to 15-4 divided in the plural number and wound around a fixed ring core 5; second windings 25-1 to 25-4 divided in number equal to the plural number and wound around so as to cover divided gap portions of the first windings; and first and second rotor plates 30 and 35 provided to be opposed to both surfaces of the ring core 5, wherein the first rotor plate has first permanent magnets 40-1 to 40-4 opposed to the first windings, the second rotor plate has second permanent magnets 45-1 to 45-4 opposed to the second windings, and electricity generated on the first and second windings 15-1 to 15-4 and 25-1 to 25-4 is taken out by rotation of the first and second rotor plates 30 and 35.

摘要： A music apparatus has a capability of using a composite music content. In the music apparatus, a storage section stores a file of the composite music content composed of a plurality of content materials, each of which is encrypted individually. The content materials include a usable content material which matches with the capability of the music apparatus and an unusable content material which does not match with the capability of the music apparatus. In the music apparatus, an identifying section identifies the usable content material among the plurality of the content materials of the composite music content stored in the storage section. Then, a decrypting section selectively decrypts the usable content material identified by the identifying section. Thereafter, a using section uses the decrypted usable content material.

The plurality of detectors, which are arranged, respectively, at predetermined joints of a human body or in the vicinity thereof, detect angles formed by respective ones of the predetermined joints, and generate a plurality of angle data indicative of the respective detected angles. The plurality of converters have different input/output characteristics and thereby convert the plurality of angle data into respective single frequency data each indicative of a frequency of a musical tone. The selector selects desired one from among the plurality of converters.
