摘要: An electrical junction box has a fitting member for securing the junction box to a vehicle body. The fitting member has a breakdown accelerating portion for enhancing breakdown of the fitting member when the junction box is pulled to remove it from the vehicle body. The breakdown accelerating portion is positioned in a base side of the fitting piece. By a transverse force caused by pulling an associated wiring harness, the breakdown accelerating portion initiates breakdown of a bracket to separate the junction box from the bracket. Another fitting device has a fitting member formed on a junction box for securing the junction box to a vehicle body. The fitting member has a slot for enhancing breakdown of the fitting member when the junction box is pulled to remove the junction box from the vehicle body, and the fitting member has a compensating piece removably inserted into the slot for adjusting the breakdown of the fitting member.

摘要: A metal terminal has a terminal body (19) having a crimp part (5) crimped to a wire and a fastening part (25) connected to the terminal body (19) through breaking parts (21, 21). The fastening part (25) has a through-hole (23) for passage of a bolt (7). The metal terminal further includes a co-fastening part (27) formed in the terminal body (19). The tip side of the co-fastening part (27) is fastened to a vehicle body (13) by the bolt (7), together with the fastening part (25). When detaching terminal body (19) from the vehicle body (13), one side of the one terminal body (19) is pulled up in a direction opposite to the fastening direction of the bolt (7) under condition that the fastening part (25) and the co-fastening part (27) are together fastened by the bolt (7). Consequently, the co-fastening part (27) is released from its fastened condition and a breaking force is applied on the breaking parts (21, 21).

摘要: A metal terminal has a terminal body having a crimp part crimped to a wire and a fastening part connected to the terminal body through breaking parts. The fastening part has a through-hole for passage of a bolt. The metal terminal further includes a co-fastening part formed in the terminal body. The tip side of the co-fastening part is fastened to a vehicle body by the bolt, together with the fastening part. When detaching the terminal body from the vehicle body, one side of the one terminal body is pulled up in a direction opposite to the fastening direction of the bolt under condition that the fastening part and the co-fastening part are together fastened by the bolt. Consequently, the co-fastening part is released from its fastened condition and a breaking force is applied on the breaking parts.

摘要: A connector is provided with a connector housing including one or more terminal housing chambers each including a first open end and a second open end; and one or more terminals each comprising a contact portion at a distal end thereof for contacting the opposite terminal and a solder tail extended from a proximal end thereof. The terminals are respectively housed in the terminal housing chambers with setting the distal ends thereof directed to the first open ends. Each terminal has a length so that the proximal end thereof reaches the same level as or protrudes from the second open end when the terminal is completely housed in the respective terminal housing chamber.

摘要: An electric connection box includes a cover fitted on a lower side of a body having mounting portions, and the cover is fixedly secured to a vehicle body. A wire harness is extended outwardly from a portion of the body, disposed near to one corner portion thereof, through an escape groove. Plural lock mechanisms, in which a lock piece portion can be elastically fitted into a lock groove, are provided at fitting peripheral surfaces of the body and cover, and are disposed near to four corner portions thereof respectively. One lock mechanism, disposed near to a position where the wire harness is extended outwardly, has a semi-lock structure, and thus has a smaller retaining force than the other lock mechanisms.

摘要: A first connector is fixed to a panel via a first bracket. A second connector is provided with a pair of rails which are brought into sliding engagement with a pair of slots provided to a second bracket, thereby to fix the second connector to the second bracket. The second connector has a body housing a plurality of connection terminals connected to an auxiliary component, a lid connected to the body via a hinge, an engagement member engaging the lid with the body and a connector hood fitted into the first connector. The lid engaged with the body after the connection terminals are housed in the body prevents the connection terminals from being pulled out. The second bracket supports the auxiliary component. The engagement of the second bracket with the first bracket leads to the fitting of the second connector to the first connector, resulting in the auxiliary component fixed to the panel.
