摘要: A method and system for adding overtly human-perceptible supplemental audio content into a media stream to help mask audio effects of an audio watermark in the media stream. A method involves receiving a media stream that defines a sequence of audio content presentable by a content presentation device, modifying the media stream to produce a modified media stream that defines the sequence of audio content, and outputting the modified media stream for presentation by the content presentation device. The modified media stream includes an audio watermark that is machine-detectable to trigger an interactive event. Further, the act of modifying the media stream involves adding into the media stream supplemental audio content coincident with the audio watermark, to help mask the audio watermark in the modified media stream during presentation of the modified media stream by the content presentation device.

摘要: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to update audio sensor configuration are disclosed. An example apparatus includes at least one memory, instructions in the apparatus, and processor circuitry to execute the instructions to: in response to detection of an update to audio sensor configuration, identify a plurality of potential audio sensor configurations to be used to receive audio, select respective ones of the identified potential audio sensor configurations for testing, determine signal-to-noise ratios corresponding to each of the selected ones of the potential audio sensor configurations, select the greatest signal-to-noise ratio of the signal-to-noise ratios, compare the greatest signal-to-noise ratio value and a noise ratio change threshold, and in response to the selected greatest signal-to-noise ratio value exceeding the noise ratio change threshold, update a configuration memory to cause use of the potential audio sensor configuration corresponding to the selected greatest signal-to-noise ratio.

摘要: Example metering apparatus and related methods are disclosed. An example apparatus disclosed herein includes a stencil and a housing having a display area. The display area has a first recessed cavity and a second recessed cavity adjacent the first recessed cavity. The first recessed cavity is offset relative to the second recessed cavity such that the second recessed cavity defines a front surface of the display area and a peripheral lip of a front side of the housing. A cover is removably coupled to the housing to enable access to the display area. The second recessed cavity of the housing is to receive the cover. The cover is received by the second recessed cavity such that an outer surface of the cover is substantially flush mounted relative to a peripheral lip of the housing, and wherein a perimeter of the cover is substantially similar to a perimeter of the peripheral lip.
