    Abstract: Systems and methods for the encouragement of environmentally sustainable behaviour are provided. A system may assign, in a second memory, an environmental score to each of a plurality of transfer protocol options. A rank may then be determined for each of the plurality of transfer protocol options based on the assigned environmental scores. In response to detecting an event associated with a first storage location, the system may filter the plurality of transfer protocol options to exclude at least a first transfer protocol option having a relatively low rank. The system may also generate user interface data identifying at least a second transfer protocol option, the second transfer protocol option having a relatively high rank.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for releasing a reserved data resource are provided. A system may receive a pre-authorization request from a second entity, the pre-authorization request defining a first account, a transaction amount, and a blockchain address to which cryptocurrency may be sent to release a reserved data resource. The system may verify that the first account defines at least an amount of first data resources equal to the transaction amount. The system may further verify that a second account defines at least a first amount of cryptocurrency having a value that is equal to the transaction amount, the second account being associated with the first account. The system may reserve a first portion of the first data resources, the first portion of the first data resources being equal to the transaction amount, and send a response to the pre-authorization request, the response including an approval message.

    Abstract: A computer-implemented method is disclosed. The method includes receiving, from a remote system, a transfer message including a transfer quantity and containing metadata regarding the transfer. The system then identifies a main recipient account based on the transfer message and, based on the metadata regarding the transfer, detects a trigger condition. The trigger condition is defined in a handling instruction stored in memory. The handling instruction includes a transfer re-routing action specifying a second recipient account. In response to detecting the trigger condition, the system causes at least a portion of the transfer quantity to be recorded in association with the second recipient account.

    Abstract: A system comprises a communications module; a processor coupled to the communications module; and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory storing processor-executable instructions which, when executed by the processor, configure the processor to receive, via the communications module, a transfer instruction for transfer of data from a first data record associated with a transferor to a second data record associated with a recipient, the transfer instruction including a transfer amount and a condition associated with the transfer; send, via the communications module, a notification of the transfer instruction to a computing device associated with the recipient and request permission to obtain contextual data therefrom; when permission is granted, obtain, via the communications module, contextual data from the computing device; determine, based on the contextual data, that the condition associated with the transfer has been satisfied; and in response to determining that the condition associated with the transfer has been satisfied, effect the transfer of data from the first data record to the second data record.
