    摘要： A drive mechanism for a power tool, a power tool and a reciprocating saw. The power tool includes a housing, a motor supported by the housing and including a drive shaft, an output member supported by the housing and adapted to support a tool element, and a drive mechanism. The drive mechanism includes a drive assembly driven by the drive shaft for rotation about an axis, the drive assembly including a gear, a hub selectively driven by the gear for rotation about the axis, and structure positioned between the gear and the hub, the structure selectively transmitting drive force between the gear and the hub and selectively allows relative movement between the gear and the hub. The drive mechanism may also include a drive arm drivingly connected between the drive assembly and the output member of a tool, and the drive arm may be configured to absorb an impact.

The power tool generally includes a spindle for supporting a tool element, a body defining a pivot axis and housing a motor and a drive mechanism driven by the motor, the drive mechanism driving the spindle, the body having a forward end supporting the spindle and a rearward end, and a grip connected to the rearward end of the body for pivoting movement about the pivot axis. The power tool may include a locking assembly for locking the grip in a pivoted position relative to the body and a switch assembly at least partially supported on the grip. The switch assembly is preferably inoperable when the locking assembly is in an unlocked condition, and the locking assembly preferably cannot be moved to the unlocked condition when the switch assembly is in an operating condition.

    摘要： A router includes a base, a motor housing supported by the base for movement along a first axis, and an adjustment mechanism having a shaft, with a thread portion, connected to the motor housing for rotation about a second axis. The adjustment mechanism also includes a unitarily formed lock mechanism supported by the base. The lock mechanism includes a thread-engaging member that, when engaged with the thread portion, causes small changes to the position of the housing relative to the base in response to rotation of the shaft. The lock mechanism is movable between an engaged position, in which the thread-engaging member engages the thread portion, and a disengaged position, in which the thread-engaging member disengages the thread portion and the housing is freely movable relative to the base to provide course adjustment of the position of the housing relative to the base.

The router may also include a fixing assembly for fixing the housing in a position relative to the base, the fixing assembly including a clamping member for applying a clamping force to the housing to fix the housing in a position relative to the base, and an actuator for moving the clamping member. The router may also include an adjustment mechanism for adjusting the position of the housing relative to the base, the adjustment mechanism including a coarse adjustment assembly for making relatively large changes in the position of the housing, and a fine adjustment assembly for making relatively small changes to the position of the housing. The adjustment mechanism may be operated when the router is supported in an inverted position below a work table. A router case having a removable molded base plate may be provided to support the router on a surface.
