摘要: A device for humidifying the useful space of a climatic chamber, the humidifying device having a flexible bag which defines water-holding reservoir defined by watertight walls. The flexible bag can be refilled through a closure. The flexible bag is at least partly made of a water-vapor-permeable material, such as a copolymer of tetrafluorethylene and hexafluoropropylene, or polypropylene. The efficiency can be improved compared with conventional open humidifying systems by appropriately structuring the surface of at least the water-vapor-permeable part of the humidifying bag, for example, by providing tufts. To impart form stabilization to the bag, its opposite faces can be joined to each other through the inside of the bag by heat-sealing or stitching.

摘要: The invention relates to an object storage station having a front area for loading the objects, a back, and two sidewalls arranged on opposite sides, and having object holding rails with support surfaces that are arranged in pairs on opposite sides and extend substantially horizontally along the sidewalls in the interior of the object storage station. The invention is characterized in that the sidewalls have a plurality of identical, horizontally extending openings, which are arranged one above the other in the two sidewalls in identical number and position and always spaced at an identical distance from adjacent openings. The number of the openings in each sidewall corresponds to the number of the object holding rails of the sidewall and each of the openings has the same distance from the respectively closest object holding rail. The invention furthermore relates to a detachable mounting of the holding rails.

摘要: The present invention relates to a heating device for samples in the field of life sciences having at least one cassette with horizontally arranged storage compartments for storing sample carriers in which gas is guided onto the cassette for heating the samples. The present invention also relates to a process for heating such samples that are arranged inside a storage room and in which gas is guided onto the samples for heating them. The heating device comprises a housing with a storage room arranged therein that is designed for the feed and discharge of gases and for the storage of the cassettes. Furthermore, a gas-recirculating device is also provided that is used for recirculating the ambient gas of the storage room. The advantage of this invention is that the samples are heated quickly, evenly, and gently.

摘要: An incubator or drying oven is provided having a housing bounding a useful space. The useful space communicates with the exterior through a front opening. An inner door is hingedly mounted to the housing and is configured to selectively cover the front opening. An outer door is also hingedly mounted to the housing and is configured to selectively cover the inner door. Mounted on the housing adjacent to the front opening is a locking element. The locking element has a slot formed on the side thereof. A latching assembly is mounted to the inner door. The latching assembly includes a hub rotatably mounted to the inner door about a first axis, a tongue projecting from the hub and configured to be received within the slot of the locking element, and a handle attached to the hub opposite the tongue. The handle is rotatably connected to the hub about a second axis that is substantailly perpendicular to the first axis. A spring continually biases the handle away from the inner door. The handle is selectively movable relative to the first axis between a first position and a second position. In the first position at least a portion of the handle is disposed over at least a portion of the locking element so that the handle functions as a spacing element that prevents complete closing of the outer door. In the second position the handle is spaced apart from the locking element such that the outer door is free to completely close.
