摘要： A paste-form detergent and process of making the detergent is presented. The detergent is composed of: 5 to 30 percent by weight of an ethoxylated alcohol of the formula R1—(OC2H4)m—OH where R1 is an alkyl or alkenyl group containing 9 to 15 carbon atoms and the average degree of ethoxylation m is 1 to 8; 1 to 20 percent by weight of an ethoxylated alcohol of the formula R2—(OC2H4)nOH where R2 is an alkyl or alkenyl group containing 12 to 22 carbon atoms and the average degree of ethoxylation n is 3 to 14, and n is greater than m by at least 1.0; 1 to 20 percent by weight of an alcohol or alkyl ether corresponding to the formula R3—O—R4 where R3 is an alkyl or alkenyl group containing 6 to 22 carbon atoms and R4 is hydrogen or an alkyl group containing 1 to 6 carbon atoms; 20 to 80 percent by weight of an alkalizing agent, and 0 to 15 percent by weight of an organic builder. The paste-form detergent is useful in institutional laundries and results in a reduced tendency to foam at the rinsing and pressing stage.

摘要： A storable, substantially water-free flowable surfactant mixture containing 40% by weight to 70% by weight of a nonionic surfactant of the formula R.sup.1 --(OC.sub.2 H.sub.4).sub.n --OH wherein R.sup.1 is an alkyl or alkenyl group containing 10 to 20 carbon atoms and an average degree of ethoxylation n of from 1 to 8; 20% by weight to 50% by weight of a nonionic surfactant, liquid at room temperature, of the formula: R.sup.2 --(OC.sub.2 H.sub.4).sub.r --(OC.sub.3 H.sub.6).sub.p --OH wherein R.sup.2 is an alkyl or alkenyl group containing 10 to 20 carbon atoms, an average degree of ethoxylation r of from 2 to 8 and an average degree of propoxylation p of from 1 to 6; and 1% by weight to 10% by weight of a C.sub.10 to C.sub.22 carboxylic acid and/or alkali metal salts thereof. The flowable surfactant mixture provides a base for forming a pseudo-plastic detergent formulation. The pseudoplastic detergent formulation is formed by introducing solid materials such as an anionic surfactants, solid foam regulators, detergent builders and the like. When the solid materials are introduced into the substantially water-free, flowable surfactant mixture, a paste-form detergent is formed. The paste-form detergent does not flow under the action of gravity but upon introducing shear energy into the mixture, the viscosity is reduced and the composition flows under the force of gravity. Upon removing the shearing forces, the composition returns to its pseudoplastic form.

摘要： The invention relates to a pasty washing agent for use in commercial laundering which contains a non-ionic surfactant, an organic and/or inorganic builder, a bleaching agent based on peroxygen, and optionally contains other common constituents. The inventive pasty washing agent is characterized in that it contains 30 wt. % to 60 wt. % of non-ionic surfactant, 0.5 wt. % to 5 wt. % of a fatty acid and/or fatty acid alkaline-salt, 5 wt. % to 15 wt. % of citrate and/or citric acid and 15 wt. % to 35 wt. % of an inorganic peroxygen compound. In addition, the pasty washing agent does not contain alkali metasilicate nor a bleach activator. In addition to exhibiting a good cleaning efficiency, the inventive agent has a disinfecting action.
