摘要: Method for braking a vehicle which has gone out of control, in which vehicle parts come into operative connection with an impact body which can be moved in the deceleration direction, wherein the impact body is connected to a controllable hydromechanical force converter and the vehicle is braked with a constantly controlled deceleration force until it reaches a standstill, wherein a measuring and control device provided in the region of the impact body controls the deceleration force of the force converter, independently of the impact mass of the respective vehicle.

摘要: The thrust coupling has a thrust frame which can be readily coupled to the underside of a vehicle. The thrust frame is pivotally mounted on a hitching device on the rear of the vehicle and is suspended at the front of the vehicle via chains. In addition, an adjustable guide rod is provided to effect centering of the thrust frame at the front of the vehicle. The thrust frame can be raised and lowered at the front end of the vehicle via the chains and can be laterally centered via the guide rod. Vertical motion of the thrust frame at the front end can be effected from the driver's seat.

摘要: This invention refers to a road block which is mounted at the rear end of a road vehicle (1) and comprises a vertical warning panel (7) for protecting a site of road works, and a crash attenuator (4), the latter being tiltable about a transversal axis (6) from a horizontal operative position into a vertical rest position suited for transportation, whereas the warning panel (7) can be moved between guidance means (9) substantially in a translational motion from an upper operational position and to a lower rest position. The tilting movement of the attenuator (4) is coupled to the translational motion of the warning panel (7) via cables or chains (11) in such a way that the attenuator and the warning panels move synchronously to the rest or operational position.

摘要: The vehicle impact attenuator comprises at least two impact absorber bodies for transforming impact energy which acts along a central impact axis, into deformation energy. The bodies are arranged in pairs, and the bodies of each pair are located on either side of a central axis of the device, and are mechanically interconnected in such a way that the deformation of one of these bodies due to a crashing vehicle results in a deformation also of the other absorber body, induced by said mechanical interconnection.
