Abstract:
A method, system and apparatus for specifying menu navigation for mobile devices. In accordance with the present invention, a listing of resources in a mobile application each can be configured with a hyperlink specifying a computing location of the resource. Each hyperlink further can include an embedded specification of menu navigation data for the resource. The menu navigation data can include a specification of the type of menu to be constructed in the menu bar of a content browser in the mobile device when rendering the resource. The menu navigation data further can include a specification of the content of a context menu which can be activated when selecting portions of the resource when rendered in the mobile device. In either case, when selected, the hyperlink along with the menu navigation data can be provided to the content server which can serve the resource to the mobile device, and which further can configure the mobile device according to the menu navigation data.
Abstract:
A method, system and apparatus for synchronization queue management. A synchronization queue management system can include a connection manager programmed to establish a synchronization link between a host pervasive device and a synchronization partner platform. The system further can include a link quality analysis service programmed to indicate a link quality for an established synchronization link. Finally, the system can include a synchronization application coupled to the connection manager and the link quality analysis service. The synchronization application can be configured to synchronize data in a synchronization queue in the host pervasive device with the synchronization partner platform over the established synchronization link. The synchronization application further can be configured to manage the synchronization queue based upon a link quality indicated by the link quality analysis service. Preferably, the link quality can be a throughput measurement or a usage cost measurement.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for stimulating biological processes for growth of plants by illuminating with coherent light (laser lamp) to deliver the required energy at the growth stage to advance absorption while minimize cost for energy to produce a biological product for photosynthesis based biological growth of plants including Algae, Diatoms, Phytoplankton, Euglena, Anoxygenic Photosynthetic Bacteria
Abstract:
This invention relates to a person's wardrobe for use in entertainment, and, in particular, on stage venues for projection of laser light from a person's body that is par to the pyrotechnic prior art for the large space of stage entertainment. The above system provides a unique small visual entertainment system that operates on batteries to enable the individual to walk about a large stage area which can entertain an audience.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to user interfaces and provide a novel and non-obvious method, system and computer program product for graphically labeling widgets in a mashup dashboard. In an embodiment of the invention, a method for graphically labeling widgets in a mashup dashboard can be provided. The method can include identifying a widget, assigning a care label to the identified widget based on a type of datafeed payload information associated with the identified widget and displaying the identified widget with the assigned care label in a user interface to enable a user to make a visually matched selection of widgets to create a self service dashboard.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a woman's wardrobe for use in entertainment, and, in particular, on stage concerts for projection of laser light from a woman's body. The above system provides a unique small visual entertainment system that operates on batteries to enable the individual to walk about the stage.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a cost effective power supply system for a laser illumination lamp as a novelty toy for laser beam patterns. The system provides a unique cost effective limited part circuit design to enable the usage of a heterogeneous set of battery options for the user to operate as well as a heterogeneous set of AC adapter power sources which may have different cost structures and availability.
Abstract:
A method, system, and program product for providing for reuse of a mobile device application in a desktop environment is disclosed. The method includes obtaining an application that is configured for running on a mobile device, and then running the mobile device application on a desktop. A method for deploying an application that includes providing a computer infrastructure that is operable to run the application on a desktop and provide user preferences for the application on the desktop is also disclosed.
Abstract:
A method and system by which a central server resource can be accessed by mobile employees for managing data, in both a connected or disconnected environment. A combined local mirror website and connection proxy is provided on a mobile user device, to provide access to essentially all web content available from the central server, or to a predefined subset thereof, but in an environment when the device is disconnected from the central server.
