摘要: A method and apparatus for driving a solid state image sensor are disclosed. The method and apparatus operate such that the amount of information charges remaining in channel regions at the time of transferring the information charge packets from the channel regions is significantly reduced. The solid state image sensor being driven has a semiconductor substrate, at least one layer of which is located over the semiconductor substrate and where channel regions are formed, and gate electrodes are formed over the semiconductor substrate to respectively cover the channel regions. Drain regions are also defined in the semiconductor substrate respectively adjacent to the channel regions in either a lateral direction or a vertical direction. Each channel region is capable of storing information charges. The driving device for the described solid state image sensor includes: a first control voltage generator for applying a first control voltage to one of the gate electrodes in a predetermined period to form a potential well in at least one of the channel regions; and a second control voltage generator for applying a second control voltage to the semiconductor substrate defining the drain regions in the predetermined period so as to set the potential barrier lower than the preset height in order to temporarily restrict an amount of the information charges to be stored in the potential well.

摘要: A storage device includes a control unit performing communication processing for communication with a host device connected to the storage device via a bus, a storage unit to which data from the host device is written, and a storage control unit exerting access control over the storage unit. In a first mode, when receiving a write command and data, the control unit indicates the storage control unit to write the received data to the storage unit, and if the data has been normally written to the storage unit, the control unit returns an acknowledgment to the host device. In a second mode, when receiving the write command and the data, the control unit indicates the storage control unit to write the received data to the storage unit and does not return the acknowledgment to the host device.

摘要: In a semiconductor storage device 10 included in a liquid container 20, on reception of an encoding request for encoding readout data, a write-read controller 140 changes over the position of a switch 141 to output encoded readout data, which is obtained by an encoding operation in a data encoding circuit 150, to a data signal terminal SDAT. In the case of no reception of the encoding request for encoding the readout data, on the other hand, the write-read controller 140 changes over the position of the switch 141 to output raw data read out from a memory array 100 to the data signal terminal SDAT.

摘要: The storage apparatus includes a controller which performs a communication process with respect to a host apparatus; a storage unit in which data from the host apparatus are written; and a storage controller which performs access control with respect to the storage unit. The controller receives a command packet and a data packet from the host apparatus. In the case where the write enable bit of the data packet is set to be in a writing permitted state, the controller performs the update commanding of the address information and the write commanding of the data of the data packet. In the case where the write enable bit is set to be in a writing non-permitted state, the controller performs the update commanding of the address information and does not perform the write commanding of the data of the data packet.

摘要: When a semiconductor storage device 10 receives write data, an error detection operation decoder 150 in the semiconductor storage device 10 determines whether any error arises in the received write data. Upon detection of an error in the received write data, the error detection operation decoder 150 does not send a write enable signal WEN to a write-read controller 140. The write data with the detected error is accordingly not written into a memory array 100.

摘要: Ink type information is read by a read and write system (62) from a semiconductor storage system mounted on ink cartridges (9a to 9d) attached to a cartridge holder (8). A decision control system (61) decides whether or not ink type information has already been stored in ink type storage system (63), and stores the ink type information thus read when the ink type information is not stored. In the case in which the ink cartridge is exchanged, the ink type information is similarly read and it is decided whether or not the same ink type information is identical to the ink type information stored in the ink type storage system (63). If they are not identical to each other, the operation of the recording apparatus is inhibited and a display system (68) is caused to display an error message thereon.

摘要: A base station frequency assigning system for a mobile communication system which is capable of assigning operational frequency for each base station in a short time is realized. Base stations 11(1) to 11(N) are grouped into small groups, which are grouped into large groups. A base station control station 13 notifies each small group of the respectively predetermined frequencies and each base station 11 in the respective groups measures the field intensity of each frequency by means of a frequency measuring unit 23. A frequency determining unit 24 determines the optical frequency and notifies the base station control station 13 of this frequency. A frequency assignment prohibiting information instructing unit 25 may limit in advance a frequency assignment of the base stations 11 which cannot obtain an adequate result of measurement. A frequency assignment can be quickly performed by grouping the base stations 11.

摘要: This specification discloses inventions of a rotation detecting device for a rotary shaft and of a rotation controlling apparatus using this rotation detecting device. The rotation detecting device according to the invention comprises a signal generator for generating two signals vary their amplitude in accordance with the rotation angle of the rotary shaft and have a predetermined phase difference therebetween, part for correcting the respective center voltages output from the signal generator, part for correcting a deviation from the phase deviation between the two signals, and part for correcting the rotating amounts of the rotary shaft on the basis of the corrected two signal. The rotating amounts are represented in terms of rotating angles. A rotating torque can be obtained by calculating a difference between the rotating angles measured at two points apart from each other on the rotary shaft. The rotary shaft can be controlled in accordance with the rotating angle or the rotating torque.
