摘要: A torque detector for detecting a torque applied to a torque transmission shaft which is connected to a load such as a wheel of an automobile. A first rotating body is connected to one end of a driving shaft of an engine coaxially, and an annular second rotating body is disposed around a boss which projects from the center of the first rotating body so as to be coaxial and parallel with the first rotating body. An elastic member connects the inner peripheral portion of the second rotating body to the boss in the radial direction. The angular phase difference between the first and the second rotating bodies which occurs due to the deformation of the elastic member is detected, and torque is calculated from the obtained angular phase difference.

摘要: A torque detector, for detecting a torque applied to a torque transmission shaft which is connected to a load of an automobile, comprises an elastic member which is interposed between a driving shaft and the torque transmission shaft so as to be connected thereto, rotating members, each of which is integrally provided with the shafts, have a plurality of teeth or notches in the outer periphery thereof so as to be positioned in each combustion stroke of each piston of an engine of the automobile, electromagnetic pickups for detecting the passing of the teeth or notches and a data processing circuit for calculating torque at a predetermined rotating angle from the angular phase difference between the above two shafts, the torque occurring due to the deformation of the elastic member caused by the increase or decrease of applied torque. The processing means adds the calculated torque in each combustion stroke of each piston and averages the added torque.

An accurate value of applied torque is detected by subtracting the angular phase difference under the no load condition from the load condition.

摘要: An apparatus for detecting a collision of a vehicle of the like has a main body which includes a rotational member comprising an eccentric weight member and two cam members, a spiral spring member which is deformed and applies a counteracting rotational force to the rotational member in response to the occurrence of impactive acceleration or deceleration of a vehicle or the like when the magnitude of the acceleration or deceleration exceeds a predetermined value, contact which is actuated by the two cam members to be opened or closed when the rotational member rotates against the countertorque by the spiral spring member to reach a predetermined angle of rotation, a base assembly, and a lid member. The collision detecting apparatus is completed by enclosing the abovementioned main body in a case with a retaining spring member intervening therebetween.

摘要: A collision detection device has a weight, which includes an eccentric mass and a metallic plate. The weight is pivoted by a shaft at a position eccentric from the mass barycenter to have a predetermined swing velocity and frequency response. A rotor is fixed to the weight, and contact springs having contacts are provided to exert a resilient force to the weight. When the acceleration caused by the impact of collision acts on the weight, it swings against the spring force, and bounces on a stopper to swing back. The rotor which swings together with the weight causes the contacts on the springs to close at a certain swing angle, producing a collision detection signal. The eccentric mass and the metallic plate may be provided to swing separately from each other depending on the magnitude of acceleration.

摘要: In a smoke sensing apparatus, a light receiving circuit including a light receiving element senses light emitted from a light emitting circuit including a light emitting element and scattered by smoke, and a voltage holding circuit converts the output signal of the light receiving circuit into a d.c. voltage and holds the d.c. voltage. A mean value circuit averages the voltage signal from the voltage holding circuit, and a switching circuit acts to bring the output of the mean value circuit to a level close to that of the output of the voltage holding circuit. A comparison circuit compares the output of the means value circuit with the output of the voltage holding circuit thereby generating a control signal.

摘要: In a housing having a cylindrical bore, an inertia sensing weight is slidably disposed. At one end of said weight, a movable contact is normally carried in complementary engagement thereby separating from a stationary contact.When the weight moves under acceleration or deceleration, the movable contact accompanies the weight until the movable contact abuts the stationary contact. In the illustrated embodiment there is a second stationary contact normally separated from the first one. The movable contact, when closing, abuts both of them, making an electrical circuit therebetween.

The collision detecting device comprises a housing closed at its one end, an end plate closing the end of the housing and provided with a terminal, a wheel having a lapping portion and a mechanism for bringing electrical contacts into and out of contact with each other, a block supporting one end of the shaft of the wheel and fixing the contacts, electrical contacts normally kept away from the contact portion of the terminal but are moved into contact with the latter in the event of a collision, a spring adapted to normally bias the wheel into contact with the projection of the block, a lid provided with a notch for fitting a cylindrical tab of the block and adapted to cover the wheel and the spring, a spring disposed between the lid and the closed end of the housing and adapted to press the lid, and the collision detecting device of the invention can easily be assembled by automatic assembling machines.
