    摘要: A driving force transmission unit includes a first coupling, a second coupling, and a first rotary shaft. The first coupling includes a first contact portion and a hole, the inner circumferential surface of which has a rounded rectangular shape in cross section including a circular arc portion. The second coupling includes a second contact portion disposed at a position facing the first contact portion to contact the first contact portion along a direction of rotation of the second coupling. The first rotary shaft is connected to the first coupling and includes a shaft portion, an outer circumferential surface which has a rounded rectangular shape in cross section including a circular arc portion inserted into the hole of the first coupling.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a latent image carrier having a surface that moves, an optical writing unit that scans and emits light in a main scanning direction, a developing unit, a first storage unit, a second storage unit, and a control unit. The first storage unit stores first light intensity adjustment data for adjusting the intensity of light emitted from the optical writing unit such that the deviation of the emission intensity of the light in the main scanning direction due to characteristics of the optical writing unit is corrected. The second storage unit stores second light intensity adjustment data which can be set at each irradiation point in the main scanning direction and is for adjusting the intensity of the light emitted from the optical writing unit such that the deviation of image density at an arbitrary irradiation point in the main scanning direction is corrected.

    摘要: This invention provides a process for preparing cyclic phosphonitrilic chloride oligomers characterized by the combination of:(I) The first step of reacting phosphorus pentachloride with ammonium chloride in an inert organic solvent in the presence of a catalyst comprising at least one of (a) chlorides of bivalent metals and (b) organic acid salts of bivalent metals, and distilling off the solvent from the resulting reaction mixture to obtain a reaction product consisting essentially of cyclic phosphonitrilic chloride oligomers, and(II) the second step of contacting a solution of the reaction product in at least one solvent selected from the group consisting of aliphatic hydrocarbons and ethers with water at a temperature of about 40.degree. to about 100.degree. C., separating the resulting aqueous layer from the organic layer, and isolating from the organic layer a mixture of cyclic phosphonitrilic chloride oligomers having outstanding polymerization properties and consisting essentially of the trimer and tetramer of the phosphonitrilic chloride.

    摘要: A drive transmitter, which can included in a driving device and an image forming apparatus, includes a drive transmitter including a drive coupling and a driven coupling. The drive coupling is mounted on a drive output shaft to which a driving force is transmitted and includes a drive claw projecting in an axial direction. The driven coupling is mounted on a driven shaft, faces the drive coupling in the axial direction, and includes a driven claw projecting in the axial direction. A height of at least one of the drive claw and the driven claw in the axial direction gradually decreasing from one end to the other end in a rotation direction of at least one of the drive coupling and the driven coupling. The drive claw and the driven claw come into either one of line contact and point contact with each other in the axial direction.
