摘要： A hand-written pattern is introduced through a matrix input means and stored in a matrix memory. An alarm time is set and stored in an alarm time memory. A detection circuit develops a detection output when the current time reaches the alarm time set in the alarm time memory. In response to the detection output, the hand-written pattern stored in the matrix memory is read out and displayed on a matrix display panel.

The display unit overlays a magnetic tablet for inputting the designated data into the unit for display on the partial display areas. The display is driven to only some of said partial display areas to display the input pattern in the information on the partial display areas by applying a high duty cycle scan voltage to the common electrodes of the partial display areas.

摘要： An improvement on a display system which displays multi-digit numeral information on a time-shared basis in response to application of bipolarity alternating voltage to liquid crystal display units. Each of the liquid crystal display units has a common electrode actuated by one of sequentially phase-shifted timing signals and a predetermined number of segment electrodes actuated by segment signals of which combinations are representative of the multi-digit numeral information to be displayed. Particularly, in the present system, visual display is provided over successive repetition of first and second display cycles in a manner that timing selection for the respective common electrodes is effected with one polarity or phase during the first display cycle and subsequently timing selection for the same is effected with the opposite polarity or phase during the second display cycle. This provides a considerable improvement in life time and immunity from blinking information caused due to the decreasing of display frequency.

摘要： A liquid crystal display panel for displaying information of plural digits comprises transparent segment electrodes, reflection electrodes and a liquid crystal composition sandwiched therebetween. In a preferred form employing the typical seven-segment font, the transparent segment electrodes in the respective digit positions are divided into two groups. The reflection electrodes are continuously provided in common to the respective digit positions in such a manner that the reflection electrodes are provided even at the spaces positioned between adjacent digit positions and divided into four electrodes with the use of thin gaps provided longitudinally of the liquids crystal display panel. Both the respective two groups of the transparent electrodes and the respective four reflection electrodes are connected to receive selection signals for display.
