摘要： Disclosed herein is an imaging device including a battery compartment having an opening for insertion and ejection of a battery, a battery release lever for allowing the insertion of the battery into the battery compartment through the opening and the ejection of the battery from the battery compartment through the opening, and a battery lid for openably closing the opening of the battery compartment. The battery release lever is located adjacent to the battery lid so as not to be substantially covered with the battery lid in its closed condition. Accordingly, the position of the battery release lever can be visually recognized even in the closed condition of the battery lid.

The device side terminal portion includes a plurality of terminals that contact terminals of the side terminal portion of the battery, and a terminal holder that holds the plurality of terminals and that is attached to a printed circuit board. The terminal holder includes a printed circuit board overlap portion that supports the printed circuit board in overlapping relationship with a side portion of the terminal holder. The plurality of terminals are connected to the printed circuit board through the printed circuit board overlap portion. The device side terminal portion also includes one or more ground terminals.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes: a conveyance path configured to guide a recording sheet conveyed from sheet placement portion, passing through sheet feeder unit, a nip portion between photoconductor and transfer member, fixing device, and sheet ejection unit in this order; and a re-conveyance path configured to guide the recording sheet conveyed from the fixing device to an upstream-side path which constitutes part of the conveyance path extending upstream from the photoconductor. The re-conveyance path is branched off from the conveyance path at a position downstream from the fixing device and extends to pass through a space between the photoconductor and the exposure device. The re-conveyance path includes a switchback mechanism configured to reverse a traveling direction of a recording sheet conveyed along the re-conveyance path after passing through the space between the photoconductor and the exposure device and to convey the recording sheet toward the upstream-side path.

Meanwhile, another projecting portion which projects in the longitudinal direction of the face is provided at the other end. The projecting portions may have projecting lengths different from each other or may have projecting lengths and projecting thicknesses different from each other. A charging apparatus into which the battery is to be installed includes an accommodating section for the battery which in turn includes projection accommodating portions configured to individually accommodate the projecting portions.
