摘要: In a plasma display module, a flexible substrate is strengthened and a mounting structure for alleviating stresses is provided, thereby preventing the metal fatigue of wirings. In a PDP (Plasma Display Panel) module, a metal plate and a flexible substrate constituting a driver module are provided. On the flexible substrate, wirings not connected to electrodes of the panel (independent linear patterns) are disposed on an outer side of wirings and near an edge portion of the metal plate to which the flexible substrate is attached.

摘要: A structure, in which the frame can be successfully fixed to the plasma display apparatus at a low cost, has been disclosed. The plasma display apparatus comprises a plasma display panel, circuit substrates having drive circuits to drive the plasma display panel, a main frame to mount the circuit substrates, and adhesive tapes to fix the plasma display panel to the main frame, and small holes are provided on the portion to which the adhesive tapes of the main frame are fixed so that they are arranged regularly at established intervals. When the adhesive tapes and the main frame are fixed, no air bubbles form between the adhesive tapes and the main frame because plural small holes are provided on the portion to which the adhesive tapes of the main frames are fixed.

摘要: A plasma display device is comprised of a plasma display panel, a circuit board having a driving circuit for driving the plasma display panel, a main frame for supporting the circuit board, and a uniform heat-conducting plate to be fixed to the plasma display panel. In this structure, although the uniform heat-conducting plate is fixed to the plasma display panel by means of, for example, an adhesive, the main frame can be detached from the uniform heat-conducting plate when the plasma display panel is replaced. As a result, various complicated structures such as a radiating fin and a rib can be formed on the main frame because consideration of the possibility of discarding the main frame along with a PDP to be replaced is no longer necessary. By forming the uniform heat-conducting plate to be a simple structure so as to reduce its manufacturing cost, and by forming the main frame to have a complicated structure to improve its thermal nature and the mechanical strength, the present invention is able to realize a plasma display device having improved thermal characteristics and mechanical strength without largely increasing the manufacturing cost.

摘要: The present invention relates to a plasma display device which limits a generation of electromagnetic wave. The plasma display device has first and second drive circuits for applying a drive voltage to first and second display electrode pair. Further, a direction of a charge current flowing at said first display electrode pair when said drive voltage is applied by said first drive circuit is opposite on said plasma display panel to a direction of a charge current flowing at said second display electrode pair when said drive voltage is applied by said second drive circuit. According to the present invention, a transitional charge/discharge current, which is generated upon the application of a drive voltage to one of the display electrodes, and a light emission discharge current flow in opposite directions on the panel. Thus, electromagnetic waves that are generated by the inductances of the display electrode pair cancel each other out. In addition, the currents flowing in opposing directions cancel each other out on the common ground wirings which are connected to the ground wirings of the drive circuits, and electromagnetic wave is reduced.
