Abstract:
A transdermal administration device including an administering part including a substrate having a first surface, and at least one projection protruding from the first surface. The projection has a shape which extends along the first surface and includes one linear top edge which is located away from the first surface and has a first end and a second end, two primary lateral faces which share the one linear top edge and have lateral edges each individually connecting the first surface with the first end, and a secondary lateral face which has the lateral edges in common with the respective two primary lateral faces and forms one corner together with the two primary lateral faces. One of the lateral edge and the top edge on the primary lateral face form an obtuse angle, and the two lateral edges on the secondary lateral face form an acute angle.
Abstract:
A microneedle set including a microneedle injection device that introduces a liquid to a skin of a body part, and a piercing assisting tool fixable to the body part. The microneedle injection device includes a hollow needle shaped body having a projection in an end portion thereof and a through hole connected to the projection such that the liquid passes through the through hole and is released from a tip portion of the projection, and a supply device that supplies the liquid to the hollow needle shaped body. The piercing assisting tool includes a fixing part which has an aperture formed therein and fixes a position of the aperture on the body part, and a cover connected to a peripheral portion of the aperture such that the aperture is opened or closed by the cover.
Abstract:
A needle-shaped body including a support section having a tubular shape with a center axis being a reference line, the support section having a proximal end and a distal end, a support substrate positioned in the support section and movable in a direction along the reference line, a needle section positioned on a main surface of the support substrate and protruding in a direction from the proximal end toward the distal end, a connecting section that detachably attaches the support substrate to the support section, and a guiding section that guides the support substrate along the reference line.
Abstract:
A nucleic acid extraction kit, which enables the nucleic acid extraction operation to be accomplished safely without causing contamination, and in which the complex preparation of reagents and the disposal treatments that are performed before and after the nucleic acid extraction operation can be performed rapidly and simply, with the extraction performed in an automated manner. The nucleic acid extraction kit includes: a container including reagent wells that each store at least a reagent, a sample well into which a biological sample is introduced, a waste liquid well, and a collection well in which an extracted nucleic acid is collected, and an extraction filter cartridge equipped with an extraction filter for separating and extracting a nucleic acid from the biological sample, wherein the extraction filter cartridge is formed in a manner that enables the extraction filter cartridge to be supported on the waste liquid well and the collection well.
