摘要： When a black image region is printed, the overall pixels in the region is printed by a black ink. Then, a cation type cyan ink which makes a coloring agent in the ink insoluble is printed on the pixels of a predetermined pattern. By this, the dye of the black ink is maintained near the surface of the printing medium to increase density of the black image. At the same time, for preventing variation of tone of the black image, the pixels of the predetermined pattern are printed by a yellow ink.

摘要： There are provided ink jet printing method and apparatus which assure that reciprocable printing can be realized at a high speed without any deterioration of a quality of printing. When an image is printed on a printing medium by using a multi-orifice head of which the ink ejecting direction relative to an opening surface is inclined in the return scanning direction, a scanning speed of the return scanning direction is delayed from the scanning speed in the reverse forward direction, an offset distance between a main dot and a satellite at the time of the return scanning is suppressed to be small, and in the case that printing is performed by reciprocable scanning, the satellite is received in the main dot not only during the forward scanning but also during the return scanning.

摘要： A liquid container for a liquid jet recording apparatus comprises a first chamber containing negative pressure producing material and having a liquid outlet connectable to a liquid jet head to supply liquid from the container to the liquid jet head and an air vent for allowing ambient air into the container, wherein the liquid outlet is provided in a bottom portion of the first chamber. A second chamber communicates with the first chamber by a communication path and is substantially hermetically sealed. A wall extends upwardly from the communication path of the first chamber. An ambient air introducing path is provided for between the wall and the negative pressure producing material extending from a point partly up the wall toward the communication path for introducing ambient air into the second chamber.
