    摘要: A main body of an illuminating knob is formed as a base made of a transparent resin. An undercoat layer and a topcoat layer are applied on a peripheral surface of the base. A pattern inside eliminating portion is formed in a shape of an indicating pattern as a marked portion by a laser etching or a partial exfoliation of the topcoat layer on the bottom portion. By passing light from a light source provided inside of the knob through the marked portion, an indication via passing through light is achieved.

    摘要: In a joystick device, a rotation position detector for detecting a rotation position of a rotatable cylinder having one end coupled with a dial knob is provided between the cylinder and a case. The detector includes a drive gear provided around the cylinder, a rotary body which has a driven gear provided around its outer periphery and is in mesh with the drive gear, multiple magnets provided on the rotary body, and a magnetic sensor provided in the case to face one end portion of the rotary body to detect the rotation position of the cylinder based on positional change relative to the magnets along with rotation of the rotary body. Such arrangement enhances the degree of design freedom for arranging a magnetic sensor in the axial direction of the cylinder in detecting a rotation position of the cylinder by the sensor and reduces a necessary number of magnets.

    摘要: A pair of engaging projections is provided on a periphery of a knob mounting section projecting from an upper case 13. A substantially octagonal annular joint member is engaged with the engaging projections and has a pair of engaging projections provided in the direction of 90 degrees off the engaging projections so as to be relatively rockably engaged with the operation knob, whereby the operation knob is universally jointed through the joint member with the knob mounting section. The operation knob is capable of being rocked by pressing an optional position thereof in the circumferential direction, and by being pivoted on two axes meeting at right angles, properly controlled steady operation can be performed. A seal plate is placed on a concave portion of the upper case. Lift springs are projectingly formed on the seal plate at intervals of about 45 degrees in the circumferential direction. When pressing the optional position in the circumferential direction of the operation knob, any of the lift springs is compressed such that a switch element located below the lift springs is turned on or off.

    摘要: In a switch in which an operation knob is rockable in an optional direction, the fluffy unsteady feeling is removed from the operation.A pair of engaging projections 25 is provided on a periphery of a knob mounting section 20 projecting from an upper case 13. A substantially octagonal annular joint member 21 is engaged with the engaging projections 25 and has a pair of engaging projections 23 provided in the direction of 90 degrees off the engaging projections 25 so as to be relatively rockably engaged with the operation knob 15, whereby the operation knob 15 is universally jointed through the joint member 21 with the knob mounting section 20. The operation knob 15 is capable of being rocked by pressing an optional position thereof in the circumferential direction, and by being pivoted on two axes (23, 25) meeting at right angles, properly controlled steady operation can be performed. A seal plate 22 is placed on a concave portion 14 of the upper case 13. Lift springs 17 are projectingly formed on the seal plate 22 at intervals of about 45 degrees in the circumferential direction. When pressing the optional position in the circumferential direction of the operation knob 15, any of the lift springs 17 is compressed such that a switch element located below the lift springs is turned on or off.

    摘要: A multi-position switch assembly includes a housing, a first holder configured for both rotational and pivotal movement, and a second holder received in the first holder. In a pivoted position, first engagement members of the housing engage second engagement members of the first holder to prevent rotation of the first holder. The second holder is rotationally fixed and is pivotable with the first holder. The second holder supports the first holder but is not directly connected to the first holder. A pushbutton extends through the second holder, is fixed against rotation and is movable linearly relative to the second holder. A detector is adapted to detect rotation of the first holder. A first input device is actuated by pivotal movement of the second holder. The first holder is spaced from and does not contact the first input device. A second input device is actuated by linear movement of the pushbutton.

    摘要: In a joystick device where a tilting operation direction of an operation shaft is detected based on positional change of a magnet relative to a magnetic sensor, the magnet being moved with tilting of the operation shaft, a slider is arranged between a base facing a board fixed to a case and a magnet holder to which the operation shaft is swingably coupled; the magnet holder is joined to the slider such that the slider guides relative movement of the holder in a first linear direction orthogonal to the axis of the operation shaft but prevents relative movement of the holder in a second linear direction orthogonal to the first direction; and a guide mechanism configured to guide movement of the slider in the second direction is provided between the slider and the base. This prevents variation in the detection accuracy regardless of tilting of the shaft.
