摘要： An auto choke device for an engine includes a choke valve for varying the opening of an intake passage of the engine, and a starter motor for starting the engine. Upon activation of the starter motor, the choke valve starts valve opening motion from a fully closed position. The choke valve continues the valve opening motion at a certain valve opening speed until it achieves a start opening set based on the temperature of the engine.

In the slit, the rear face of the discharge electrode other than a first long side is fixed to the internal side face of the first guide. 摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a photoreceptor, a cleaning unit, an exposing unit, a developing unit, and a control section. On a circumferential surface thereof, the photoreceptor has an image area to have contact with a record medium in an image forming process, and a non-image area. The cleaning unit has a blade in contact with the image and non-image areas. The exposing unit forms an electrostatic latent image on the surface by irradiating the surface along a fast scanning direction with light modulated according to image data supplied by the control section. The data includes primary image data for modulating light to irradiate the image area with. The developing unit develops the latent image by applying developer to the surface. The control section performs an image addition processing in which secondary image data for modulating light to irradiate the non-image area with is added to the primary image data.

The muffler and the generator can be laterally aligned in parallel with each other, and the engine duct and the generator duct can be located in a manner such that the directions of release of the cooling winds from the engine duct and the generator duct are parallel to each other. The exhaust duct can be located with the generator duct secured to a crankcase. An opening of the engine duct, and an opening of the generator duct can be laterally aligned with each other, and the opening of the generator duct can be positioned above the generator.

As an electrode disposed in the charging apparatus for charging photoreceptor surface, an electrode formed with a protective layer made of nickel and phosphorus for surface protection is used. In the protective layer, phosphorus concentration and thickness proportion are each set to fall within a specified range.
