摘要: A method of manufacturing a multi-layer resin material by employing a plurality of kinds of thermoplastic resin. Resins for inner and outer layers are supplied into a feed block of a feed block type T-die coextrusion apparatus where they are laid up another, and are then sent to the T-die side. In this case, a resin which is practically similar to the resin for the outer layer is supplied as an auxiliary resin to both lateral edges of the multi-layer resins within the feed block. Thus, the sheet extruded from the T-die slit has lateral edges which are made of a single resin.

摘要: A resin laminate is disclosed, which comprises a gas permeation-resistant resin layer having laminated on each side thereof a polyolefin based resin layer, wherein said polyolefin based resin layer contains an inorganic filler in an amount of 30 to 80% by weight based on the total weight of the resin composition. The resin laminate may be provided with a thermoplastic resin layer containing no inorganic filler on the outersurface thereof. The resin laminate has a minimized oxygen gas permeability and has a low calorific value and is useful as a packaging material.

摘要: A photographic support comprises a paper coated on both sides with polyethylene resin film. For providing improved cutting property of the paper when it is used for a photographic paper and subjected to an automatic printer/cutter, strength reinforcing and sizing agents contained in the support are made such that amount ratio of the former to the latter is at least 1.8. To impart the paper a desirable stiffness and further improved cutting property, polyvinyl alcohol fibers which are neither heat-treated nor acetalized, in 5-25 parts by weight, are mixed to 100 parts by weight of woodpulp fibers when the paper is formed. This allows to make the paper as light as 160 g/m.sup.2 or less but having stiffness property pertaining to photographic papers.

摘要: An embossed photographic support material is produced by extrusion coating a polyolefin resin over a pattern embossed on a base paper material and pressing the polyolefin resin onto the embossed paper with a cooling roll. The cooling roll has a surface finish to impart the desired amount of gloss to the embossed surface.
