摘要: A safe driving assist apparatus includes an image processing ECU configured to determine whether or not a specific object exists forward of an own vehicle, a wireless communication apparatus configured to acquire information on a road sign recognized by another vehicle from the another vehicle through vehicle-to-vehicle communication, and a driving assist ECU configured to determine, based on information on a road sign detected by the own vehicle and the information on the road sign detected by the another vehicle, whether or not a specific condition indicating that a possibility of collision between the own vehicle and the another vehicle exists is satisfied, and to execute, when determining that the specific condition is satisfied, notification control of notifying a driver of the own vehicle that the possibility of collision between the own vehicle and the another vehicle exists.

摘要: A control apparatus and method for a hybrid vehicle that searches for and determines a scheduled travel route and a downhill section included in the scheduled travel route on the basis of positional information of the vehicle and road information. The control apparatus determines a section from a downhill control start point to an end point of a target downhill section as a controlled target section. The downhill control start point is located a predetermined first distance before a start point of the target downhill section. When the vehicle travels on the controlled target section, the control apparatus executes downhill control. Even in a situation in which a target downhill section is newly determined during execution of the downhill control, the control apparatus continues the downhill control until the vehicle reaches an end point of the controlled target section for which the downhill control is started.

摘要: A notification device of an approaching vehicle detects an approach of the other vehicle running a crossroad intersecting a run way of an own vehicle at an anterior intersection and an arrival direction thereof by a radar sensor and notifies a driver thereof. A reflection distance-acquisition part computes a reflection distance Xw according to a difference between absolute values of an X-axis component of a relative position acquired by the radar sensor and an X-axis component of a converted relative position acquired by a relative-position acquisition part of the other vehicle in an X-Y rectangular coordinates with its origin at a location and a Y-axis in a traveling direction of the own vehicle. A notification restriction part forbids a notification of the arrival direction of the other vehicle when the Xw has not fluctuated for a predetermined time or longer.

摘要: A driving support apparatus for a vehicle comprises a first determination part which determines whether a likelihood of a collision between an own vehicle and another vehicle exists based on information acquired by an autonomous sensor and outputs a first notification request when a notification for the likelihood of the collision is required, a second determination part which determinates whether the likelihood of the collision based on information acquired by an inter-vehicle communication device and GPS sensor and outputs a second notification request when the notification for the likelihood of the collision is required, a warning determination part which inhibits the output of the second notification request by the second determination part when a time at which starts outputting the second notification request for a notification device by the second determination part has come until the time period from a time treq1 at which starts outputting the first notification request for the notification by the first determination part. Consequently, the apparatus is less likely to bother and/or confuse a driver, since the notification contents are not switched in a short time.
