摘要： This invention relates to a production system for retail goods which is intended for timely collection of accurate sales information from retail outlets and flexible production of goods in accordance with the same information, and includes sales information collecting units for collecting sales information at a plurality of sales outlets, a production size determining unit for determining a production quantity to be produced in the future for a plurality of goods based on the sales information received from the plurality of sales information collecting units, and a production unit for flexibly manufacturing the plurality of goods based on the sales information which is collected at the plurality of sales information collecting units. After the production size determining unit determines the production quantity, output data indicative of the production quantity determined by the production size determining unit is transmitted to the production unit so that the production unit manufactures the production quantity of the plurality of goods.

摘要： This invention relates to a production system for retail goods which is intended for timely collection of accurate sales information from retail outlets and flexible production of goods in accordance with the same information, and comprises a retail sales information collecting means, a production quantity setting means for determining a production quantity according to the information so collected, a directing means for directing the preparation and production of raw materials according to the determined production quantity, and a production means for producing the determined production quantity according to a direction to produce. Also provided is a raw materials ordering system, which determines production quantities of raw materials in accordance with production plans for ensuring flexible production of the products without the disadvantage of carrying excessive inventories and for economical and efficient control and supply of raw materials. As such, the system comprises an order quantity determining means for setting or modifying daily required quantities of raw materials in response to setting or modification of daily production plans and determining order quantities according to raw material attributes, inventories, order backlogs, in-process order quantities and the required quantities of raw materials and a data input processing means for modifying the raw material inventory quantities upon receipt of raw material acceptance information. Furthermore, another type of the raw material ordering system disclosed in this application can be employed for those raw materials that require processing after placement of an order.

摘要： A copy machine having an image forming section includes a paper transport passage to such section, a turn-over guide portion which turns over the sheet formed and recorded with an image on its one surface for feeding-in, and a sheet return for returning the sheet formed and recorded with the image on its one surface, from a paper discharge section towards the turn-over guide portion. And, with each one sheet or n (n.gtoreq.2) sheets being set as one group, each of the sheets recorded on its one surface per each group, is returned to the paper feeding transport passage for effecting image formation and recording onto its other surface. The sheet returning speed is set to be either faster than the ordinary transport speed at the image forming section or to be variable so as to eliminate a loss in time during recording to the other surface of the sheet after recording onto the one surface thereof.

摘要： The heat and pressure rolls of a fusing apparatus for an electrophotographic copying machine are shifted into pressure contact with one another while a support sheet bearing a toner powder image passes therebetween, and are separated while the sheet is not therebetween. A driving mechanism drives both rolls when not in contact, while one of the rolls drives the other while in pressure contact. A shifting mechanism is actuated by a sheet detector for shifting the rolls into and out of contact.In another embodiment, the rolls are in light rolling contact, with no sheet passing therebetween, under the weight of one of the rolls idly mounted in place. A pressing mechanism presses the rolls into pressure contact, upon actuation by a sheet detector, while the sheet passes between the rolls.

Each of the boxes has an opening on a side wall so as to oppose to an opening formed on a side wall of the adjacent box. A horizontal guide rail device is provided in each box, extending to the opening thereof. A horizontal carrier is provided to be moved along the guide rail devices of the stocker and second player boxes passing through the openings. A plurality of coils are mounted on each of the guide rail devices, arranged in a moving direction of the horizontal carrier. The horizontal carrier has a magnet to form a magnetic field passing through some of the coils. The coils are sequentially excited so as to move the carrier in the moving direction.

摘要： An electrophotographic copying apparatus has a drum with an endless photoconductive material on its periphery and has arranged around the periphery of the photoconductive drum an eraser unit, a charging unit, a slit exposure unit, a developing unit, a transfer unit and a cleaning unit disposed within or close to the developing unit. The charging, exposure and developing units are operable during the first revolution of the photoconductive drum to form an image thereon, the cleaning unit being operable to clean the surface of the photoconductive drum during the second revolution thereof. The photoconductive drum in the course of the second revolution is adapted to rotate until the rear end of the image formed on the photoconductive drum has passed the charging unit, whereupon one copying cycle is completed. The front end of the image to be subsequently formed can be positioned on a portion of the photoconductive drum other than where the front end of the image formed during the abovementioned cycle is positioned.
