    摘要: There is provided a multifunction timepiece wherein the visibility of pointers can be improved, and increases in the thickness of the timepiece can be reduced. This timepiece comprises a dial, an hour hand, a minute hand, a pointer, and a movement. The dial has a dial cover and a time display section on the inner periphery thereof. The hour hand is mounted on the time display section and has an hour hand rotating shaft disposed at a different position from the center position of the time display section. The minute hand is mounted on the time display section and has a minute hand rotating shaft disposed at a different position from the center position of the time display section. The pointer is mounted on the time display section and has a pointer rotating shaft. The dimension A from the pointer rotating shaft to the tip of the pointer is greater than the dimension B from the minute hand rotating shaft to the tip of the minute hand. The pointer rotating shaft is disposed at a position away from the hour hand rotating shaft by a distance less than dimension A and greater than dimension B. The movement drives the hour hand, the minute hand, and the pointer.

    摘要: A disc brake that suppresses braking noises when a vehicle moves backward include an urging spring urging a friction pad toward a rotationally exiting side of a disc when the vehicle moves forward, the urging spring being arranged between a hook portion of the friction pad and a torque receiving portion of a carrier. The urging spring formed through bend of an elastic plate material has its spring constant that is set to be a small value to avoid resonance frequency causing noise where the base end side thereof is fixed to the hook portion of the backing plate while the top end side thereof elastically abuts to the torque receiving portion of the carrier. The urging spring is located at the position that is outside in the radial direction from the center position of the hook portion in its width direction.

    摘要: This invention provides a scroll type fluid machine which can simultaneously realize the stabilization of the behavior in the rotational direction of an orbiting scroll and the reduction in the manufacturing cost by the ease of holding a grease. In the scroll type fluid machine, three pairs of rotation prevention mechanisms are provided between a casing and an orbiting scroll. The rotation prevention mechanism is constituted of first and second ball coupling mechanisms having a function different from each other. The first ball coupling mechanism supports the thrust load of the orbiting scroll. Meanwhile, the second ball coupling mechanism supports the rotation force of the orbiting scroll.

    摘要: A scroll fluid machine is capable of readily providing a back-pressure chamber having an increased pressure-receiving area and yet capable of being reduced in size. A fixed scroll member is secured to a casing. An orbiting scroll member is provided at a position facing the fixed scroll member. A holder is provided at the back of the orbiting scroll member, and a coupling member is provided to face the orbiting scroll member across the holder. The coupling member couples together the orbiting scroll member and a driving shaft and performs an orbiting motion together with the orbiting scroll member. A back-pressure plate is provided at the back of the orbiting scroll member, and a back-pressure chamber is formed between the back-pressure plate and the holder.

    摘要: In a seal system for a scroll type fluid machine, a seal mechanism is provided between a backpressure plate and a holder, so as to surround an orbiting backpressure chamber. The seal member comprises a seal attachment groove, a seal member and a Y-shaped packing. The seal attachment groove is stepped on its outer circumference to define a shallow bottom portion. The seal member includes, on its outer circumference side, a cutout portion matching the shallow bottom portion. The Y-shaped packing is disposed between a deep groove peripheral wall of the seal attachment groove and the cutout portion of the seal member, and a backpressure chamber is defined on a reverse surface side of the seal member. By this arrangement, a slide surface of the seal member can be larger than an effective area of the backpressure side of the seal member. Thereby it is possible to reduce a difference between a load Ff acting on the slide surface and a load Fb acting on the reverse surface.
