    摘要: The transfer of a textile dye from a dyed fabric to another fabric during washing or rinsing is inhibited by adding an enzyme exhibiting peroxidase activity or an enzyme exhibiting a suitable oxidase activity to the wash liquor in which said fabrics are washed and/or rinsed. Peroxidase is produced extracellularly by some strains of Bacillus pumilus. The novel peroxidase preparation from B. pumilus is a microperoxidase, i.e. it contains hemopeptide as an active component. The preparation has improved stability at high temperature, at high pH and at high concentrations of hydrogen peroxide. It can be produced without undesired catalase activity.

    摘要: The invention relates to a valve system, in particular for controlling the liquid flow in a plant for central heating. The system may comprise one or more valve housings with at least two associated distinct inserts having different flow characteristics. The inserts comprise two types of means with regulable openings that serve as inlet and outlet, respectively, said means being provided with means for regulating the liquid flow, the differential pressure over the openings of that first means being changeable, whereby the area of the openings of the other means is changed to the effect that the differential pressure is regulated. The inserts are furthermore provided with means for the applied change in area by means of an activator that comprises an end which is exposed to the surroundings. A programmable regulator unit provided with motor can be coupled to the end of an activator on the insert. The regulator unit is programmed such that it is capable of regulating the activator in response to the flow characteristics of the insert and hence the liquid flow through the valve housing coupled to the control unit.

    摘要: Dye leached from dyed or printed textiles in an aqueous solution can be decolorized by adding enzymes that utilize hydrogen peroxide or molecular oxygen for the oxidation of organic or inorganic substances, including colored substances, together with a source of H.sub.2 O.sub.2 or O.sub.2. Such enzymes are usually termed peroxidases and oxidases, respectively. This treatment reduces the risk of back-straining (redeposition of dye onto textile) even when less water is used. The enzymatic bleaching of released dyestuff will decrease process time as well as the amount of energy and water needed to achieve a satisfactory quality of the textile, and the color of the waste water is reduced.
