摘要: The invention provides a method for producing a non-woven textile, comprising: i) applying a layer of a dispersion comprising dispersion medium and biobased first fibers (110) on a support, wherein the biobased first fibers (110) are fibers derived from a micro-organism cultured in a liquid culture medium, and wherein, prior to said applying, a plasticizer has been added to the dispersion; ii) depositing reinforcing second fibers (120) on the layer of the dispersion, wherein the reinforcing second fibers (120) are separate fibers which are not part of a fabric, and wherein the second fibers have an average length that is at least 10×the average length of the first fibers; and iii) eliminating the dispersion medium to form the non-woven textile (100) comprising a web of biobased first fibers (110). A non-woven textile, and seamless as well.

摘要: Ways to generate softened loofah embedded products are described. Such softened loofah is softened using a softening solution that includes papaya extract, liquid detergent, and water. The softening solution is heated during treatment of the loofah. The softened loofah is pre-rinsed with a solution of bleach and water and/or rinsed with water. The softened loofah is able to be embedded into a cleaning agent such as soap.

摘要: A process to clean carbon fiber fabric of a pre-applied sizing, while simultaneously activating or preparing the fabric to receive a polymer resin is described. The cleaning process and chemistry combines an enzymatic cleaning solution with an oxidizing agent. The enzymatic solution strips the fibers of lubricants, surfactants, and other chemicals of the sizing which might otherwise interfere with interfacial properties and bonding of the fabric to the matrix resin. The inclusion of an oxidizing agent concurrently adds hydroxyl groups to the surface of the fabric allowing for the grafting of organic copolymers to the surface of the fabric, the copolymer being chosen based upon the desired polymer resin. This process provides a customized finished carbon fiber fabric to bond to a specific polymer resin, without interference resulting from an inadequate fiber sizing chemistry. In this way, a customizable finished fabric may be manufactured.

摘要: A method of treating a fabric, comprising contacting the fabric with an aqueous liquor comprising a fabric care component selected from the group consisting of cationic softening-compounds, silicone softening-compounds, paraffins, dispersible polyolefins, waxes and mixtures thereof; and contacting the fabric with an aqueous liquor comprising a nuclease enzyme, preferably a deoxyribonuclease or ribonuclease enzyme. The aqueous liquor may be provided by adding a cleaning or treatment composition to water. Preferably the composition comprises a surfactant, the wash liquor comprising from 0.05 to 4 g/l of a surfactant.

摘要: The present invention discloses novel polypeptides and enzyme preparations containing them, which enhance the efficiency of the cellulosic degradation even at elevated temperatures. The polypeptides are produced by recombinant technology, and means for their production are described. The novel polypeptides are useful in processing biomass, and in biofuel, starch, textile, detergent, pulp and paper, food, feed or beverage industries. They may also be used e.g. in cleaning the interior of a dishwashing machine or for biofinishing or biostoning. The novel polypeptides are also useful in animal feed.
