    摘要: This is a device and a method for withdrawing cellulose pulp with a pulp concentration of 8-14% from a cylindrical storage tower. The storage tower has a plane bottom and with a diameter that exceeds 3 meters. A pipe is arranged through the wall of the storage tower that is parallel to the bottom of the tower and directed towards the center of the tower. The pipe has at one of its ends an obliquely cut opening that faces upwards in the tower. The pipe is attached at its other end to an MC pump to be able to pump out cellulose pulp from the storage tower.

    摘要: The method is for converting a vertically standing up-flow tower by inserting a freely insertable pipe into the conical part of the up-flow tower the tower is converted to a down-flow tower where the tower can easily be restored to the up-flow tower and optimized with regards to a minimized stagnation volume in the tower. The upper open end of the pipe is disposed at a first distance (A) from the lower part of the conical inlet part. The first distance (A) is less than the total vertical extension (B) of the conical inlet part. The cellulose pulp establishes a self-forming stagnation zone around the pipe at a lower part of the down-flow tower.

Gaps (15, 16) are formed between each of those two sides of the flow restrictor member that converge in a wedge shape and those walls of the wedge-shaped chamber facing towards the flow restrictor member. The holes (18) for introducing the first fluid are disposed in the region of the gaps (15, 16).

    摘要: An apparatus for fluidizing, degassing and pumping a suspension of fibrous cellulose material is described which comprises a housing, a fluidizing rotor and an impeller of radial type, said housing having a cylindrical portion for the rotor, a portion for the impeller which is radially enlarged in relation to the cylindrical portion, a wall closing one end of the housing and a shaft rigidly connected to the impeller, an axial inlet for suspension being disposed at the cylindrical portion, and a radial outlet for suspension at the radially enlarged portion. The apparatus has also a degassing system for removing gas which collects in front of the impeller and comprising an opening in the impeller and the wall, the impeller having a hub, a partition and forward and rear blades. Furthermore, the impeller is provided with a concentric, circular inlet for the continuous supply of suspension to the rear blade space, the rear blades being arranged to exert a pump action on the suspension supplied to the apparatus.
