    摘要: An apparatus for the controlled proportioning of gases to be delivered to a consumer comprises a mixed gas line containing the mixed gases to be delivered to the consumer which is connected to a plurality of separate gas supply lines. Each of the supply lines includes a quick-acting, electrically controlled valve which is controlled by control means which is effective to deliver a control pulse to open and close the valve in accordance with a set time slot pattern. For this purpose, the controller advantageously includes means for sensing the pressure in each of the supply lines and the mixed gas line and for regulating the quick-acting valves in accordance with one or more input signals which are fed to a computer section of a controller which has an actuator section which is operated in accordance with the sensed information and the input signals to carry out the supply of the gases in the set time slot pattern. The controller delivers one pulse per time slot pattern, the minimum length of the pulse being determined by the minimum switching time of the control valve and its maximum length being determined by the division of the time slot pattern. For gas amounts smaller than the corresponding minimum pulse times at each position of the time slot pattern, pulses are delivered only at certain points of the pattern.

    摘要: The invention is directed to an electrically-actuable valve for a fluid such as a gaseous medium. The valve has a valve closure member disposed adjacent a valve plate provided with a plurality of pass-through openings. The valve closure member and the valve plate are displaceable relative to one another in a direction perpendicular to their surfaces by means of a short-stroke drive whereby a plurality of sealing lines are opened. To arrive at a good valve operation especially for relatively small valves, the valve plate is configured with a plurality of pass-through openings or perforations. The surface of the valve plate facing the valve closure member has a plurality of raised portions formed thereon defining respective receiving surfaces for receiving the closure member in contact engagement therewith to form the sealing lines when the valve is in the closed position. Each two mutually adjacent ones of said raised portions define a flow channel open toward the closure member and communicating with the outlet of the valve. The pass-through openings lie within the raised portions and extend from the other side of the valve plate to the receiving surface and communicate with the channels when the valve is open and the valve closure member is displaced away from the valve plate thereby enabling the gaseous medium to flow from the inlet of the valve to the outlet thereof.

A heating device 12 stabilizes the temperature of the liquid bath and ensures a sufficiently high vapor pressure of the gaseous anesthetic above the liquid phase. The anesthetic vapor is sent via the metering valve into the fresh gas line.

    摘要: The invention is directed to a method of operating a laser diode in a measuring system for spectroscopically measuring the concentration of a gaseous component in a gas sample. This method is improved in that the mode jumps of the laser diode are easily recognized when adjusting the temperature-current operating point of the laser diode. An optical filter is placed in the beam path for adjusting the temperature-current operating point of the laser diode and, by changing the temperature T and the operating current I of the laser diode while simultaneously receiving the output signal supplied by an evaluation unit, the spectral positions of the mode jumps of the laser diode are determined which are included in the absorption lines of the gas sample. Thereafter, the temperature-current operating point is adjusted so that the distance of this operating point to the positions of the mode jumps is not less than a fixed spacing. The invention is also directed to a measuring system for spectroscopically measuring the concentration of a gaseous component in a gas sample.
