    Abstract: A display system and a display method for video walls are provided. The display system includes at least one server and a plurality of player devices. Each server renders an image and transmits the image to a network. The player devices are coupled to the at least one server through the network. Each player device receives the image or a part of the image rendered by one of the at least one server, and determines a synchronization time together with at least one of the other player devices. Each player device uses a display of a video wall to simultaneously display the image or the part of the image at the synchronization time.

    Abstract: A system, a control apparatus and a control method for distributed video display are provided. The system includes an image source device configured to provide image data, a plurality of displays, a plurality of display chips respectively coupled to the displays and connected with the video source device through a network, and a control apparatus connected with the image source device and the display chips through the network and configured to transmit a playback signal to each of the display chips to control the display chips to receive the image data from the image source device and convert the received image data into display frames capable of being played by the displays. The control apparatus further transmits a synchronizing signal to each display chip to control the display chips to synchronize the clocks with each other according to the synchronizing signal and sets each of the display chips with a fixed delay time after receiving the image data to synchronously play the display frames on the displays.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a video conference system. The video conference system includes a plurality of terminal equipment and a server. Each of the terminal equipment estimates and transmits real-time bandwidth and conference requirements to the server. A multipoint control unit of the server includes a multipoint controller and a multipoint processor. The multipoint controller determines, according to the real-time bandwidth and the conference requirements, a transfer rule and an allocation scheme corresponding to each of the terminal equipment. The multipoint processor receives the transfer rule and voice data stream or video data stream from the terminal equipment. The server transmits each of the allocation schemes to the corresponding terminal equipment. When any of the terminal equipment transmits new real-time bandwidth or new conference requirements to the server, the multipoint controller determines the transfer rule and the allocation schemes once again.
