    Abstract: The invention concerns a method for controlling a system (1) for a motor vehicle, said system comprising at least: —an actuator, —a volatile memory (RAM) in which at least one item of position information of the actuator (IPRAM) is stored, —a long-term memory (EPROM) in which the following are stored: o at least one item of position information (IPROM) of the actuator, o an item of information relating to the powering down of the actuator (IHT), this item of information assuming a first value (v1) when the system has been powered down in a controlled manner and assuming a second value (v2) when the system has suffered a fault causing the current value of the position of the actuator stored in the volatile memory (RAM) to be deleted, in particular when the system has stopped being powered electrically as the result of an error, or communication between the system and a computer has been cut off as the result of an error.

    Abstract: The invention concerns a method for managing a thermal management device (1) for a motor vehicle, comprising the following steps: —increasing the speed of rotation of the compressor (3) to its maximum speed, —determining a modified setpoint temperature (T15-sp3) of the third element (300) greater than the first setpoint temperature (T15-sp1), so that the temperature of the second element (200) at the outlet of the first evaporator (11) tends towards its setpoint temperature (T11-sp), —adjusting the opening diameter of the second expansion device (13) so that the temperature of the third element (300) at the outlet of the second evaporator (15) reaches a modified setpoint temperature (T15-sp3), until the temperature of the second element (200) at the outlet of the first evaporator (11) reaches the setpoint temperature (T11-sp). The invention further relates to the thermal management device (1) for implementing said management method.

    Abstract: A method for managing a thermal management device for a motor vehicle is disclosed. The device has a refrigerant circuit that circulates a refrigerant fluid. The circuit includes a main loop having, in the direction of circulation of the fluid, a compressor, a condenser configured to exchange heat energy with a first element, a first expansion device and a first evaporator configured to exchange heat energy with a second element. The device operates in a mode of strict cooling of the third element in which the condenser transfers heat energy to the first element and only the second evaporator absorbs heat energy from the third element. The method includes managing the open diameter of the first expansion device as a function of the ambient temperature so that the refrigerant fluid circulates inside the first evaporator, the open diameter of the first expansion device decreasing as the ambient temperature of the first element increases.
