摘要: A vehicle control system is provided, in which an engine ECU starts fuel cut control when deceleration is requested, and an air conditioner ECU operates a compressor to accumulate the cold while the fuel cut control operation is performed by an engine controller, and deactivates the compressor in a case where an evaporator temperature matches or falls below a compressor deactivatable temperature when a condition for terminating the fuel cut control is satisfied. The engine ECU extends the fuel cut control in a case where the compressor is deactivated when the condition for terminating the fuel cut control is satisfied. The air conditioner ECU includes an airflow volume decreasing unit configured to decrease an airflow volume from a blower, which blows air into a vehicle interior, when an estimated air conditioning load is low during the operation to accumulate the cold, for rapidly decreasing the evaporator temperature.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for adjusting a position of an air recirculation valve of a HVAC system to adjust a ratio of ambient to recirculated air routed to an AC evaporator to collect condensed water for water injection into an engine. In one example, a method may include adjusting the position of the air recirculation valve of the HVAC system based on a water level in a water storage tank of the water injection system. Further, the method may include adjusting the position of the air recirculation valve of the HVAC system based on a determined humidity of the ambient air and a determined humidity of the recirculated air.

摘要: An air conditioner for a vehicle includes: a compressor that compresses refrigerant for conditioning air in a vehicle cabin and defines a refrigeration cycle; a detecting section that detects a thermal load of air-conditioning in the vehicle cabin; and a control section that controls a rotational speed of the compressor such that the thermal load detected by the detecting section satisfies a predetermined air conditioning request in the vehicle cabin. In case where the air conditioning request is satisfied by controlling the rotational speed of the compressor, the control section periodically switches between a reference rotational speed and a low rotational speed that is lower than the reference rotational speed in order to maintain a state where the air conditioning request is satisfied. The reference rotational speed is a rotational speed within a predetermined range that includes the rotational speed at which the air conditioning request is satisfied.

摘要: A system is provided that includes mode, engine, and battery modules. The mode module is configured to determine whether to operate in an engine mode or a battery mode based on parameters. The engine module, while operating in the engine mode, runs a compressor at a first speed based on a temperature within a temperature controlled container of a vehicle and permits passage of refrigerant through eutectic plates independent of the temperature. A battery, while in the engine mode, is charged based on power received from an electrical source. The battery module, while operating in the battery mode and based on the temperature, runs the compressor at a second speed and prevents passage of the refrigerant through the eutectic plates. While in the battery mode, the battery is not being charged based on power from a shore power source and the electrical source from which power is received during the engine mode.

摘要: A compressor compresses a refrigerant. A eutectic plate cools a refrigerated space. An evaporator cools the refrigerated space. A mixture of the refrigerant and an oil flows through the evaporator and the eutectic plate. A control module controls the compressor, a first valve that permits or prevents flow of the mixture to the eutectic plate, and a second valve that permits or prevents flow of the mixture to the evaporator. In response to a temperature of the refrigerated space being greater than a predetermined temperature, the control module: increases a speed of the compressor; operates the compressor at the increased speed for a predetermined time period; after the predetermined period: opens the second valve; and closes the first valve, where the control module opens the second valve before closing the first valve, and decreases the speed of the compressor after closing the first valve.

摘要: An air conditioning system for use in an over-the-road or off road vehicle is provided that provides a method of operation during both engine on and engine off conditions. The method operates the air conditioning system at one capacity when the engine is running, and at a second capacity when the engine is not running. The selection of these capacities is based on the power capacity of the source of electric power from which the air conditioning system is operated. When a storage battery is used to power the air conditioning system during engine off conditions, the second capacity is lower than the capacity at which the system is operated when the engine is running.
