摘要: A collection tank for a mobile vacuum excavator includes a front with a closed end, a rear with an open end, a door configured to be closed over the open end, and a linkage assembly having a first end attached to the door and a second end attached to the body. A first pivotal movement drives the first end and second end away from each other, and a second pivotal movement moves the first end and the second end toward each other. An actuator is attached to the first arm and to the second arm so that actuation of the actuator in a first direction drives the first pivotal movement and actuation of the actuator in a second direction drives the second arm the second pivotal movement.

摘要: Separation units for dewatering slurries such as flat-wire belt conveyors are disclosed. In some embodiments, the separation unit includes a tension pulley for maintaining tension in the flat-wire conveyor belt. The flat-wire conveyor belt is looped around the head pulley, tail pulley and tension pulley. In some embodiments, the head pulley and/or tail pulley include teeth for removing material from the mesh openings of the flat-wire belt conveyor.

摘要: Hydro excavation apparatus for excavating earthen material are disclosed. The hydro excavation apparatus includes a first reservoir for holding a base fluid therein, a second reservoir for holding an additive therein, a vacuum system for removing earthen material from an excavation site, and an additive dosing assembly. The additive dosing assembly includes at least one of a pump and a valve fluidly connected to the second reservoir. The additive dosing assembly is selectively controllable to introduce an additive into at least one of the base fluid and the removed earthen material.

The transfer system may include a holding tank and a conveyor such as a drag-slat conveyor that extends into the tank to remove and convey material from the tank. The transfer system includes a hatch. The hatch is moveable from a closed position in which vehicles travel over the hatch to an open position in which the holding tank is open to receive material from the vacuum excavator.
