    摘要: A system, method and computer program product are provided for scanning a mobile wireless device for malware. Initially, a service agent is initiated utilizing a mobile wireless device. Next, information describing the mobile wireless device is transmitted to a back-end server over a wireless network utilizing the service agent of the mobile wireless device. An update is then received from the back-end server over the wireless network utilizing the service agent of the mobile wireless device. Subsequently, an anti-malware scanner installed on the mobile wireless device is updated so that the mobile wireless device may be scanned utilizing the updated anti-malware scanner.

    摘要: A system, method and computer program product are provided for scanning a mobile wireless device for malware. Initially, an update command is received from a user utilizing a graphical user interface of a mobile wireless device. An anti-malware scanner installed on the mobile wireless device is then updated over a wireless network in response to the update command. The mobile wireless device is then scanned utilizing the updated anti-malware scanner. Such anti-malware scanner may be conditionally updated based on the update command so as to regulate usage of the wireless network with the mobile wireless device.

    摘要: A system, method and article of manufacture are provided for programmable scanning for malicious content on a wireless client device. Initially, an anti-virus program having an instruction set is assembled in a programmable computing language. The anti-virus program is implemented in a wireless client device. A scan for malicious code is performed on the wireless client device utilizing the anti-virus program. A method for programmable scanning for malicious content on a thin client device is also provided. An anti-virus engine is assembled in a programmable computing language. The anti-virus engine is installed on a thin client device. A signature file is also assembled in a programmable computing language, the signature file containing an identifier uniquely identifying a computer virus and a virus detection section comprising object code providing operations to detect the identified computer virus on the thin client device. The signature file is also installed on the thin client device. The anti-virus engine is initiated for scanning for malicious code on the thin client device utilizing the signature file.

A fixed grate is disposed in the path so that as fluid flows in the path the fixed grate does not move. A movable grate assembly includes one or more plates and a movable grate attached to the one or more plates. The one or more plates includes an integral hinge such that the plate can rotate about the integral hinge. When the movable grate moves with respect to the fixed grate the impedance on the flow varies.

    摘要: A ball-grid-array integrated circuit (IC) chip carrier formed from a silicon substrate is disclosed. The silicon ball-grid-array chip carrier is of particular use with ICs having peripheral bond pads which can be reconfigured to a ball-grid-array. The use of a semiconductor substrate such as silicon for forming the ball-grid-array chip carrier allows the chip carrier to be fabricated on an IC process line with, at least in part, standard IC processes. Additionally, the silicon chip carrier can include components such as transistors, resistors, capacitors, inductors and sensors to form a "smart" chip carrier which can provide added functionality and testability to one or more ICs mounted on the chip carrier. Types of functionality that can be provided on the "smart" chip carrier include boundary-scan cells, built-in test structures, signal conditioning circuitry, power conditioning circuitry, and a reconfiguration capability. The "smart" chip carrier can also be used to form specialized or application-specific ICs (ASICs) from conventional ICs. Types of sensors that can be included on the silicon ball-grid-array chip carrier include temperature sensors, pressure sensors, stress sensors, inertia or acceleration sensors, and/or chemical sensors. These sensors can be fabricated by IC processes and can include microelectromechanical (MEM) devices.

    摘要: A regulator for maintaining a constant partial vacuum in a region, such as in a piece of process equipment or a fume hood. The regulator includes a path, through which fluid passes from the region to the vacuum source, and a movably mounted piston having a frontal face, which is exposed to fluid in the path, and a distal face, which is exposed to a reference pressure, such as the pressure of the environment in which the equipment is located. The piston is disposed in the path so that the piston may constrict the path at a constriction point. Fluid in the path upstream of the constriction point exerts a pressure on the frontal face of the piston that tends widen the path at the constriction point. The piston is mounted so that the weight of the piston exerts a force on the piston in a direction that tends to widen the path at the constriction point. A force is exerted on the piston, preferably by a spring under compression, in a direction that tends to narrow the path at the constriction point.
